I enjoyed seeing all the rescue birds and loved meeting this ambassador owl. The property is beautiful. The cages were clean and the animals were well taken care of.

It was fun seeing how far Kelly has come with her rehab center. We met her about 30 years ago and our daughter interned with her for 2 summers.

Called the center to report a bird in distress. Kelly got there almost immediately and pick it up. Very dedicated and knowledgeable.

About Marathon Wild Bird Center
#Ritathebaldeagle — Rita joined our family of 35 non-releasable educational avian ambassadors in February 2024. We are located at Crane Point Hammock Museums & Nature Trails which consists of 63-acres of native fauna and flora. It’s here where we have been rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing sick, injured and orphaned wild birds in the Middle Florida Keys since 1995. We are a volunteer-oriented rescue organization. We are grateful to be located at Crane Point, but receive none of the admission fees. To support Rita, her 35 non-releasable ambassador bird friends and all of our patients PLEASE MAKE A DONATION DIRECTLY TO THE MARATHON WILD BIRD CENTER (see website). Thank you for helping us to help our fine feathered friends!
