Took my 2 year old there for story hour when visiting the area. Very nice facility and staff.

Visiting from out of town and had an urgent need to print so I stopped in. Angela helped me get my documents done and was so friendly and helpful and sincerely saved the day! Library is clean and well set up.

The first public library in the Florida Keys opened in Key West in 1853. Today, Monroe County Public Library serves more than 350,000 adults and youth, via five locations, from Key Largo to Key West. We strive to meet the changing access and literacy needs of residents and visitors alike, without discrimination of any kind. The Marathon Branch officially opened in the 1960's and we will be moving to our new and third location in June, 2021
