There is no fishing off the boating docks during the day, but there is good fishing off the non-boating side, especially just before sunrise and just after sunset.As of 2022, it is gated until it opens at 7am. Also, it requires a $10 parking pass to be in the lot (with less temporary options available).

We always liked going there to watch the boaters but we're shocked they went from free parking to $10!!! They took this free peaceful enjoyment away from visitors that are not residents just like Residents Beach, sad!!
