Rudest and most aggressive angry employees, staff go out of their way to harass and make your life miserable. filling a prescription here is a huge headache, they punt to their wholesaler lists and refuse to dispense the brands unless you and your doctor send 675 pieces of paper and then they say oh that's $1278 pay with your credit card...the front cashier, woe befall you if you just need toothpaste or sunscreen, this is why self checkouts are coming, Americans (if they are even that, everyone working here is fob) have zero civility and zero training. they just throw a body to staff the store and they act like you're disturbing their online gaming on their cellphone, which you are. never setting foot here again. close this store and we'd all be happier.

The store is short staffed but overall staff is friendly. Pharmacy staff has improved over the past few years and is much more helpful. The pharmacist named Tom is really nice and helpful. I have also had a few vaccines here and that was easy and staff was nice. Still could use some improvement in wait times for meds.

Staff not friendly or courteous. Had $5 off coupon but was not even told that my Walgreen’s card was not processed (their computer often is very slow or messes up) so I did not find out until I got home & looked at receipt. All it would have taken was a quick & gentle reminder that my Walgreen’s membership did not go through. How hard is that?

I called to check on a prescription, they told me to call again the next day. When I did that, the store was closed due to staffing issues. Unprofessional and frustrating

Seems the pharmacy goes out of their way to offer the least possible service to their customers. On multiple occasions they have pushed back to me to contact both my doctor and insurance company when they could’ve easily done it themselves, but couldn’t be troubled… they claimed that they sent a “fax” to the doctor… a fax??? Is it 1982??? It’s been a week, and still my prescription is not filled!

Walgreens Marco Island in store pharmacy service was just horrible, so I switched to Walgreens autofill by mail. As a result, my prescription is now 6 days past due, and I am without medicine and still waiting. I am forever done with Walgreens. I doubt they even care that they lost nearly $1500 a month in prescriptions. Save your health and avoid the grief and go somewhere else. Can't win with Walgreens, they are Hopeless and Unreliable.

Not your ordinary Walgreens! It's Island Style for sure. I'm a Walgreens fan. Good company. I favor this store and shop here often. I was slightly disappointed. I'm on my local Holiday Hunt. I can never get enough of Fa-la-la la-la* even if I don't buy anything. No Holiday in this store. I was told this store focuses more on seasonal beach merchandise. Bah-Humbug. I've purchased some fun Christmas items from this store over the years.For that reason only, I cannot place the 5th ⭐.

Needed Rx transfer from my home Wallgreen’s to San Marco Wallgreen’s on Marco Island. Received instructions, followed details & picked up my much need medication without a problem at a very reasonable price. Thank You San Marco Wallgreen’s Pharmacist & employees. You are my “go to” pharmacy during my stay & for any other return visits.

The rudest employees ever. Untrained, don’t realise what “customer service” even approximately means, they behave like you owe them something. And just when you start questioning “who does even keep all these amazing people here?!” they call their manager and everything becomes crystal clear…

I live locally and used this pharmacy for a while. Service was so slow that I moved all my scripts to Winn Dixie. Still have to use this location for other things though, and they are chronically understaffed, don't even think to assist each other in the pharmacy, and have no customer savvy at all. It is not uncommon for it to take 30 minutes to get through the drive thru with only 3 cars in front of you, and it's just as bad inside. Stay far away during season, as it's way worse then. I have no idea why they refuse to hire more staff, but do yourself a favor and fill your scripts elsewhere.

Terrible customer service. Deliberately rude staff that gives you a mean look and tone when you ask very simple questions. Will not be returning, would suggest going to CVS if you want a similar store but a better experience!

This location may be the worst Walgreen’s that I’ve ever visited. Will not let you in without a mask and will not give you a disposable mask if you forgot one. Once entering the store, the selection is minimal and the shelves were picked over. This location also refused to take a prescription from my physician because they were “too busy to fill it.” If I could rate this 0 stars, I would; this place is getting a boost with 1 star.
