They gave me the wrong receipt for a cell phone charger that didn't work, though I have it in my American Express statement and can prove that I bought it, they wouldn't return it without a receipt

I would give 0 starts but unfortunately I can’t. I went to return a bag of gummies that i purchased and I didn’t release the bag was ALREADY OPEN , i went to returned and store manager claimed that she couldn’t do a Exchange for another bag because the one that I purchased previously was already open even though I got it like that and proceeded to tell me to take it to another 5 below . She claim that she applied a different policy for her store that can’t return (food , gummies , etc ) I didn’t know a manager can change policy of a franchise store. I took it to another 5 below in university and with no problem they help me out . Also got told in the university store that the manager Lisa could’ve help me out BECAUSE ITS A FRANCHISE STORE (YOU CAN RETURN AND EXCHANGE ITEAM IN ANY 5 BELOW ) she just chose not to

If i could give it zero stars i honestly would. being racially profiled is honestly so DISGUSTING! Didn’t catch her name but it’s the old karen. She stood over me while i scanned all my items and even tried scanning it. Why have a self check out if it’s the associate checking me out? Then two old white men were next to me but didn’t get the same treatment. she then proceeds to grab all of my items and walk away THREE TIMES. then said she was gonna stand there while i inserted my card and pin not protecting my identity. Please get rid of your staff that cannot treat colored people the same as others. My friend didn’t even get that treatment. Then when i asked for my items after i had paid while waiting for my friend to check out she stood by the door and said “here you go.” what kind of establishment does this?

My first time here. It was clean and well organized but to me it seemed like a Bougie Dollar store. Lots of items where at the 5 Dollar mark that should not of been. It would be good to bring kids too as there are a ton of toys.
