It’s a nice store but it is a sauna inside. 85° @ 830pm outside. No portable AC units will be enough for a space this big. To expect employees to work in these conditions in south Florida is ridiculous. It’s not comfortable for shoppers and I am certain it is not comfortable for the employees. Can’t imagine having to sweat it out and then be responsible for emptying the condensation tanks as part of your shift. All stores in the plaza have functioning AC except Joann’s. Do better for everyone. Fix it.

Store had posted signs for gift bags 30% off, excluding holiday. I did mot have holiday ones. At register, I advised cashier of sale. She declined to give discount that was clearly posted. I returned them bc I wanted a larger size, and again informed them of posted sale sign, excluding holiday which i did not have. FInally, she spoke w someone on walky talky who confirmed sale. But did not give me full discount again. Let's do grade school math 9.99, 30% off is 7. Such a joke in this store won't be returning. Hobby lobby or Michaels, hello

I had an unfortunate experience with staff at this Joann’s location on 22nd Nov 2023. I approached a salesperson in the fabric area to ask for assistance. Her demeanor was one of disgust as she readied herself looking around hesitantly for almost 15 seconds before turning to us. Her service or lack thereof was disrespectful and her knowledge or lack thereof was zero. This staff member displayed no understanding of what customer service is. No greeting, no smile, and one had to beg for assistance. After acknowledging her “that will be 109.00 dollars!” and asking her to straighten the fabric before measuring, she began folding the fabric over itself as a form of measuring the 4.5 yards I requested. When I questioned this method, I was told that’s how they measure to keep the fabric tidy. In the end the measurement was short by 08 inches. My word, never again. This one star review is given only because there is nothing lower. I love your stores but this experience has left a bitter taste.

Lord christ in heaven the employees and computers at the register here barely have a pulse. The line at the checkout is where shoppers and their hopes and dreams go to die.

Staff cannot answer basic questions about sewing. Not good at a fabric store. If you don't need any help I suppose you will do okay.

Lily is my favorite cashier at JoAnns. She goes above and beyond all the time. She has top tier customer service and definitely makes my shopping experience pleasant. She deserves a raise :)

The Joanne Fabrics on 441 and Sample Rd was very disappointing. Went there to shop on Friday and while shopping I saw the store manager mistreating her cashier and speaking to her in a unprofessional manner!! I have come to this store several times and notice that when I ask for help the person that cuts the material is unprofessional and doesn't want to help you if you ask for help. Also they false advertise because when they put up signs with sales items it's not taken off at check out. They need to have more professionalism towards there customers and not mistreat there employees in front of customers. ???

Over the past seven days, I have been faced with a critical issue of insufficient staffing, resulting in a lack of employees available to assist customers and an absence of cashiers at the checkout counters. This has happened for the second time within this short period, causing considerable inconvenience and frustration for valued customers.

Stood there for over 10 minutes by myself trying to find the right sewing machine while all the employees just walked past me with no help. I finally get help and after 10 minutes having to stop an employee they tell me the product I'm looking for is not in stock. If they had simply interacted with the customers or ask if they need any help I wouldn't have wasted my time.
