The customer service at this branch is terrible. the tellers at this branch need training and proper customer. And how to speak with people we all have bad days but to be rude is not necessary or needed.

Worst bank I have ever done business with. When I first contact Customer service representative to acquire about my disabled account, she assisted that I give her my PIN number. My online account has been disabled since 9/11/2023. I have no idea what transitions that are occurring or my current balance. Try to call them all day today (9/18/2023) from 9:00 until thy closed. No one will answer my call. I would either be waiting for someone to answer, sometimes for over an hour, get disconnected or receive a message saying that they could not receive any more calls.

I just had to give a shout out to Anthony from the SCCU branch in Margate. He is always so helpful and performs his job with a level of enthusiasm and positivity that is very rare in professionals today. Give this man a raise!

Overall, I am pleased. They do hold your initial deposits, even via a certified check, for several days which was a little off putting. If you need your money immediately I would consider this. I have been to this branch, and one other off of Andrews and both experiences were very pleasant. I had one person who I spoke to on the phone when setting up the account who was rude and in my opinion inept as she didn't explain or know anything related to the benefits of a membership. However, every other experience I have had everyone has been kind professional. You cannot beat their rates and I had never heard of an interest baring checking account. With my big box bank I was earning .04% interest on my savings where here, it's well over 1%. I'm a happy customer.

Was very excited to learn about this credit union. Walking in, my intentions were to ask questions and figure out what options and benefits would be available to me with opening an account. This was none of this branches concern. Disorganized, unprepared, uninformative and zero care about my questions and making feel like I'm taken care of. Pamela came off very condescending and rushed me to just signed up. She kept getting up and leaving, literally running around the office. She was not down right rude, but her condescending tone with her answers to my question just weren't professional. She even spoke the same way to someone she called to help her with a question she had. So it's not just questions for her that are a problem, but her questions are an issue for her as well. It was my first time stepping into this place, and it is my last.

Lantoinette is the most inconsiderate, rude, nasty customer service manager that I have come across. All of the associates I have dealt with lately have been super nasty and rude. I will closing my Space Coast credit and debit cards in search for a more customer-friendly bank. Do better space coast.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH TAKING A LEASE BUY OUT LOAN!! DO NOT USE SPACE COAST. They lied to us about fees, they use bait and switch tactics, lied about when the loan would be processed. I cannot begin to explain to amount of NUMEROUS ISSUES we experienced throughout what should have been an easy process!!!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!

I honestly never heard of them and I was bared from banking with actual banks but SCCU helped me build my credit and manage my funds wisely. They were my second chance and I absolutely love them. The people are so kind and they have great energy, they always make my day.

Do not become a member. Worst banking experience of my life. So you know that I'm not just bashing them for no reason: 1) There online banking is older than dirt and is the worst user experience I've ever had. It appears that SCCU developed their own custom online banking software and it's terrible! 2) They held my initial deposit for 5 weeks, until I decided to inquire and they said "oh yeah, you have to go to a branch and show them the source of the deposit and THEN we will release YOUR funds." Can't make that up. In the interim, they tried to charge me for two months of "low balance fees". 3) I used their online banking to transfer some funds to another bank / account of mine. $2 fee. Whaaaa? I didn't use a teller. Didn't call their service desk. 4) I ordered checks. It tooks six weeks for them to arrive. F- grade on that. All in all, it's a s**t bank that has grown too big to care about it's membership. They act like the worst for-profit banks (think Bank of America or Well-Fargo, yeah, that bad).

NEVER USE THIS BANK!!! My husband and I opened a business account here and was approved for a loan through SBA and they refuse to release the funds to us. They stated they are sending the money back to SBA, it has been weeks and they have not sent the money back. We opened an account with Chase to have the loan sent there and they are still holding the money. SBA said they have to wait until they get the money back to redirect it to our new account. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND STAY FAR FAR FAR FROM THIS BANK. WISH I COULD GIVE NO STARS!

Always had good experiences until I met the most lazy passive aggressive teller in my life. She gives the place a bad look. The eye rolling for no reason, asked a question and she jumped down my throat. Best believe if it wasn't for covid we would have words.
