I am very disappointed by the people serving the cafeteria/ bakery area. My family and I have been coming to this bodegón since 2009 and never had I had such bad service as I did tonight, the person serving the bakery was very rude she totally ignore the number system they have and when she remember she started changing the numbers without calling them when I told her she had skip me and I had been standing there waiting she said I was too busy talking to someone else… well I wasn’t and even if I was my mother was there paying attention too and the lady never called our number she just skipped a whole bunch. Needless to say I didn’t buy anything. That woman was very disrespectful.

I have been a long time customer of this establishment, and always shared positive comments with friends and relatives. But recently we had a very disappointing experience with the shift manager Vicente. My wife and infant son were rushed to the cashier to pay for a 0.99 cent banana as my son needed a snack, I understand there are store protocols for opening unpaid items however there is also professional courtesy where a manager could have volunteered help for her to pay, by no means I'm asking for free stuff but I would suggest perhaps take the cash and make the payment for her since she was tied up caring for the baby and my other 5 year old, this is the sole purpose of a manager to difuse situations, assist customers and set examples for other employees, instead Vicente decided start an open ended argument with myself and my wife in front of several other customers, completely unacceptable behavior on his part. I'm am uncertain of Vicentes qualifications to be a manager or what background he carries, but he definitely needs to be retrained or at least moved to a department where he doesn't have direct contact with customers.

The food is amazing and delicious however the minute they figure out you Dont speak Spanish they become very rude. All those years I am shopping there weekly, they always want to argue. I don't speak Spanish and they don't speak English. They are very popular because food is amazing so i know they think they don't need my business, they really don't but it's pretty sad that they do not care.

I shop at Latin markets quite a bit, this one needs a sincere course in food handling, I watched as the butchers were handling beef and then handled chicken without changing gloves or washing their hands. Hard pass on this place. They get two stars because their coffee is good.

Went for cappuccino, empanadas and pan de yuca! The coffee was mostly milk and no coffee, the pan de yuca was awful! Dry and cold, and this is 8:25 AM today! The only half-way decent food was the empanadas! Very dissatisfied and disappointed! Never again breakfast at Bodegon!

It is not too often that I feel discriminated against because I speak English when I am spending money but this store's employees are very good at it. Instead of trying to help you, the second they hear English they will look the other way and help anyone else and pretend you are invisible. It didn't use to be that way in this store, lived here since 2010 but in the last year, look out. It's disgusting!!!!! If you are craving some latin cooking or pastries go elsewhere if you speak English.

Very rude bakery and buffet staff in the last 3 trips there. I won't be coming back anytime soon. Maybe in a year they will be gone and they get some nice workers SELLING.

We only went to buy pan de bono & Martha Lucía went above and beyond with her customer service. She offered us so many great desert/food recommendations from the bakery that we ended up purchasing because of her. They were all delicious, she even offered to cut the chorizo for us so we could eat it on the drive back home

Do not come here. The service is trash and the workers are rude and racist. I lost my cards and instead of being helpful the guy was being super rude. All I asked was if the cameras could be checked because it was about a 20 minutes in between when I realized I lost them in the store. It’s ridiculous we can’t even help someone with something actually serious. So disgusted NEVER EVER COMING BACK HERE!!!!!

Very rude staff! Not helpful to me as a customer at all. I will not be back. I felt very disrespected and belittled by two employees… Taking my business elsewhere.

Don’t ever buy meat here…apparently it can only last a day. If it gets bad they won’t return it. I have never had an issue like this anywhere but here. This has got to be the most ridiculous policy I have ever of and makes you wonder how fresh their meat is. So consider yourself warn. The pork shoulder I bought was rotten.

I love this place to do my grocery shopping, I must say first, but last week I got very annoyed with how I was treated.I have a service dog that I take everywhere in the US, EVERYWHERE (Airplanes, Amusement Parks, Zoos, Restaurants, Parks, Museums, etc.), without asking for paperwork or intimidating procedures; very different than here, where they feel like coming to me, saying, "You can't have your ANIMAL here"; they didn't even ask if she was a service dog, or what service does she provide (Normal Questions that a Service Dog owner needs to answer, because its a friendly attitude when I got asked), Not here. There is a girl with curls and glasses that was so rude, pretending to be some manager, asking me for documentation that I was happy to show and I told her about the ADA Laws which clearly they don't have a clue about. Otherwise, they won't be asking questions they are not allowed to; she even threatened me with calling the police, I did not have time for that show, but next time I'll be happy to be the one to call the police and see who's right. They think they are still in Colombia, and they can rule their businesses as if they were there; guess what? This is not Colombia, this is the US, and you MUST follow the US laws and regulations.Get your employees trained to treat people of all kinds and conditions, how to have excellent customer service, and don't let fool employees ruin your business.Thank you.
