Over and over again we use that expression "if only there was something less than one star." There's rude, there's arrogant, and there's dismissive. Every time I go to this miserable establishment I experience one of these negatives. From the moment I arrive (this time I didn't even have to get out of the car), it is clear the pathetic folks here hate having to show up for work. How about this: I ask "can you refill my propane tank?" The employee does not even look in my general direction, or speak in an audible tone of voice. Rather, he can't even be bothered to look at me and exert the effort to speak, Instead, he shakes his head in the negative. This after driving 7 miles out of my way when their website says that they are open at the time that I arrived (but this poor soul apparently disagrees). I wish they had competitors nearby so their customers could put them out of business.

Beware of this place, I arrived at the address listed and see the U-Haul parked out front. I go inside the financial business and the lady tells me I have to go to a DIFFERENT location to pick up the U-Haul. When I get to said place they tell me I will have to pick the truck up at the first location I went to. If you can: GO TO A AUTHORIZED U-HAUL LOCATION! My first experience renting a U-Haul at a authorized dealer the process was flawless. This was the most headache I ever endured during a pick up I’ll never make a reservation at a 3rd party dealer

The staff seemed friendly when you can get them. Every time I went into the facility, the "system was down" and they couldn't help me. So I called up and was on hold for about 2 hours. I was told I need to talk to someone else and put back on hold for another hour. The u-box drop-off and pickup were well done, but the delivery lost a box. The agent at the destination said I need to call the origin facility. Isn't that their JOB?Unless you've got hours to waste waiting on hold, I'd recommend a different mover.

Absolutely horrible facility, they stole money from me and would refuse to take accountability, they gave me a truck with a quarter of a tank only used 26 miles witch was recorded, I put 20 dollars in gas returning the truck with more then I had picked it up with. When I received the recipe I saw they charged me 100 dollars for 17 gallons and told me that they recoded the truck to have a full tank and the only way they will return my money is if I have proof with a picture showing the gas level when I had picked it up, my question is how is a company so irresponsible to not record how much gas is in there vehicles before they rent them to the public, if you ask me this was intentional they saw the opportunity to steel from a customer and they did, this company should not be allowed to own a business they a thrives.

The staff were very helpful and informative and made my transition into the locker from my u-box seamless. I highly recommend coming here for your storage and renting.

It is unfair to the 1-star to even give them this. I booked a trailer hitch install through the U-Haul website for Sunday, December 19. After waiting 30 minutes to check in, they had me sign a bunch of paperwork and took the key to our car, stating they would call when the car was done. Fast forward 6 hours, we've heard nothing and because it is impossible to get them on the phone, we drove back to the location only to see the car sitting in the same spot without a hitch. At this point they inform us that their hitch installer doesn't work on Sundays and they apparently moved our appointment to Saturday (without anybody informing us of such). I understand mistakes happen, but they were completely unapologetic and offered zero explanation as to why they wasted my entire day or took the car in the first place. All I got was blank stares and an insistence that it was me who missed my Saturday appointment (notwithstanding that I showed them my Sunday confirmation email).In the future, I will avoid this location like the plague.

After an epic fail from a different Uhaul this center was completely different ! Oh and wait for this .... it was BUSY !!! These ladies were on it ! The service was accurate and pleasant ! She explained everything and ... was friendly !!!!! Oh and the center was clean and organized !!! Thank you !!!

This location is not great. We had an appointment scheduled to get a hitch installed on our car, they even called us to confirm that we get there and they tell us that we don't have an appointment. This place isn't down the street, its a 45 min drive and we took the day off to make this appointment. Customer service wasn't great and helpful. They told us they can only reschedule on a different day. I am definitely not recommending this location and if their manager truly can't do anything when she calls us back I might not recommend this company at all.

The woman on the phone was not polite and in the end did not provide me with the vehicle I was requesting. She was insistent on following along whatever prompt she had in front of her instead of listening to what I needed. Dont waste your time calling here

The general manager (Angel) at this place is a complete joke. Knows absolutely nothing about trailers and is extremely rude. He gave me the oldest busted up auto transport on their lot which is also smaller than their newer ones. My vehicle did not fit properly and the trailer had mechanical issues as it vibrated the whole 16 hour drive. He refused to believe anything was wrong with the trailer and basically called me ignorant as his computer said my vehicle would fit and it clearly did not as the tires were rubbing the side rails on both sides. I rent from Uhaul a handful of times a year and am considering never using any Uhaul again.

Walked in and was greeted professionally. Had Ordered boxes online. Allison was quick and efficient in getting my order. She put the boxes on a cart and took them out to the car, Even tried to help me load the large boxes in the car! We had trouble making the large boxes fit in the backseat or trunk. Eugene was in the lot and came to assist! He helped fold the 15 boxes so they would fit in my backseat! Allison and Eugene 5 stars for customer service!!

This is an experience at Uhaul Margate the customer service from the general manager at this location is beyond insulting to anyone, this person had a better experience than me. I was told to go get a hitch welded off since they were incapable of doing so, after 2 hours of the technicians laying under my vehicle with the inability to remove a hitch. After this I was advised that this experience was my fault and that I had to pay additional funds because their employees couldn't get off there phones. After asking why would you charge me additional labor when I removed the hitch off my vehicle myself. Luckily the next customer complained that they were over their reservation time so all there services were free. I on the other hand was being told that it was my fault and that I had to pay additional funds. I have called customer service twice to ask for follow up the first representative sent it to the general manager that was the person that provided the WORST SERVICE EVER. The second call I was advised the regional Frank would follow up, again to no avail. The best part is the hitch they install the nuts came while off driving, customer service training, and technician training is obviously a skill that is overlooked and safety is not a concern. My time wasted was not valuable to this store now was my complaint taken seriously. On top of it all the GM at this location didn't even follow up within 72 hours in regards to this complaint she defensively placed her version of what happened. I am glad to know this is a racist and rude individual if I would have been a white male would I have received the same treatment and got everything free as well?

I returned my U-Haul 5 days early and a 125 miles under my estimated miles and received no refund. I would encourage consumers to read the fine print before signing paperwork with U-Haul. Don't cry about it later.

I have rented a U-Haul truck at this location before and just as last time, this time we had absolutely no problems. Scrap that, we did have a little bit of a discrepancy with the gas they marked the truck having versus the amount of gas the truck actually did have. But you cannot get something like that past my husband and he was able to get it fix it right away. We are not moving or anything we just wanted a truck to pick up some doors I order at Home Depot and other building materials that would have been too bulky for just a pick up, and Home Depot's truck rental is by the hour and there was absolutely no way we would've been able to get everything we needed in that little bit of time, so this worked out great. We actually kept the truck until the next day and bought some more stuff we needed in the morning. And a grand total was under $50. They have a lot of trucks. Chances are you will find what do you need available, and they also have a storage facility on the premises which I was told to tell everyone I know that the first month is free LOL The lady who helped us the day of the rental was very helpful, very informative,and very nice. It was a painless process. I am definitely using this U-Haul rental again

Don't think about coming here on a weekend, unless you have plenty of time to kill. Two desk employees waited on a line of double digits each time I came on a weekend. And there are at least 4-5 employees standing outside in the trailer area, chatting it up. Not sure how they're managing staff but it appears to not be making customers happy... I had a scheduled pickup time for a trailer and waited an hour in line. Good times. Both times I came during the week and there were 3-4 counter employees, no wait in line.
