I have been to the post office many times and go at least once a month and never had a bad experience until yesterday. I only went to the coconut creek post office because it was on my way home and is not the regular one that I go to. However after yesterday I am not sure if I may utilize the post office ever again. The woman who was assisting me was beyond rude and disrespectful. She has no business dealing with the public and should be in a room alone with paperwork only. Believe the reviews regarding this location. They must be desperate for help because it seems to be the normal for this location.

Believe every review! This place is unprofessional and the reason why the post office is losing customers to UPS and FEDEX. I just watched the teller (a man ) tell the customer to her face! I don’t care! Just take a drive to another location . The manager is just as bad and this is why they are the way they are. They need to hire a whole new staff.

Rate it zero stars. This lady did not open the door until 10:45am when they are suppose to be open at 10am on today 5/31. There was a line of about 40 people elderly, disabled and pregnant waiting to get assistance. The only worker there open the door and she was extremely rude to everyone and said we’re lucky she is even there today her name was Ann Marie. She started to attend people and kept telling them no you can’t do this here no you have to put that in a mail box no I’m not trained to do passports, no we don’t have stamps right now. So everyone that waited that line for no reason because this post office opened extremely late and should not been in service because they basically can’t help with anything. This has got to be the most ridiculous and frustrating day for everyone there.

Service is part of the usps name but farthest from the truth! One person 14 people on line and nothing is being done to bring someone else out to help! Wow what a shame

Worst usps in the planet I got there at least ten times a month and even thought they’re supposed to have two employees to attendant customers it’s always one and the line is always thru the door so you go there for a quick letter to be send and you have to wait for an hours all the time because the line is at the door. The stuff is rude and goes a slows as possible like they don’t care you’re waiting in line for an hour ever. God forbid you says something as they’ll get back to you rude loud responses that the last customer at the door can hear… just terrible

I asked the employee to weigh a letter because I suspected it needed an additional stamp, it did in fact need an additional stamp, then the lady proceeded to ask ME for a stamp. Ma'am, I came to the post office and just asked for a stamp... If I had one, the letter would have just gotten dropped off... So yea this location.... is a joke.
Very odd vibes coming from this USPS location - I will never return, and wont be surprised if this branch shuts down within the year. I say this not only because the lack of stamps (at the post office lmfao wth!), but also because of the decaying facilities and horrible attitudes of the employees.
Shut it down, go to the other nearby post offices.

I dropped off a package on 2/11/2025 at 9 AM at the Margate location. It was supposed to arrive in Orlando (the destination) by 2/13/2025. However, today, 2/13/2025, the package has just left Margate and is now headed to Opa-locka, Miami. 😠
I should have known there would be issues since they are understaffed only one cashier was working because only one computer was functional. There were seven people ahead of me, and it took me over 30 minutes just to get through the line. The cashier was nice and courteous.
I highly recommend driving to the Coral Springs location instead, it’s much faster.

Awful. Have been sending packages internationally for over 20 years to my grands. These almost always include candy. After standing in line watching staff move as slowly as possible.. with one worker telling a lady who cut about 10 people in line to ask a question to ask me if it was okay after she told her to go in line. (Awkward) I finally got what appeared to be a trainee to help me. She first told me that I had to take my forever stamps (one international one not just Xtra in case) off of my cards because they would be returned even though all of my other cards have made it just fine...Then after a long wait and her inability to read the info on my form (Wrote in description the # 2 and candies and again # 2 in the # of items column) .. I was told after 15 minutes that I can't send candy to Germany by her another lady who apparently was there to 'help' her ? When I said .. I send candy all the time..she said well the law changed a year ago. I said spent $300 bucks to send packages at Xmas with gifts and candy..She accused me of not declaring it!! Rude and untrue . I took my packages and cards and left. Called USPS and somehow finally reached a human. She pulled up the list of forbidden items to this country on her system which is exactly what I saw on their site. Same link and candy wasn't on it. Checked other specialty international shipper's lists for that country and candy isn't on it. The place is sad..slow...and folks seem ill informed apparently? The only thing I can assume happened is : User error...system error...? Couple that with a total lack of respect and lack of customer service and you have a bad review. Prior workers weren't like this at all. They were helpful ...and when the new rule on detailing customs forms came about (never the room to accommodate your info though) they let me know. But as recently as December and prior to that last year...there was never any mention of a candy ban. DO BETTER.

Mail carrier from Coconut Creek post office, need to stop walking on walk on resident grass when homeowner Rmaintaining their grass there damaging the sprinkler. It was done many times and I’ve never complained but it’s overbearing. I’m putting in a complaint so that the post office need to Address the matter
