not the karen type at all as i work in an animal hospital and understand difficult patients but apparently it is legal ( which it isn’t) to not disclose any reason as to why a medication cannot be filled even if it has nothing to with the actual medication ( ex. not being within a certain mile radius which they also refuse to disclose which refusing to disclose that is another regulation that doesn’t exist.) Legally you disclose to the patient why you cannot dispense their medication and I am not sure why they think i’m stupid enough to believe they can yell “ ITS THE POLICY “ in EVERY situation. Every associate has a different reason as to why they can’t fill it yet no one can take responsibility for mishandling my file and putting false information on it to get out of filling it ever again . Who puts a courtesy fill on a medication marking the reason being “ patient lives over 6 mile radius “ for someone who lives 2 miles away? Then I’m told 5 other stories from last month- now following the original courtesy fill , yet i’m the issue even though I was extremely nice to all of them which clearly doesn’t make them speak or treat you any better than if you weren’t :) . They have no proof or explanation of any of these guidelines or rules regarding why they cannot fill your mediation even if it is unrelated anything regarding the pharmacist being concerned about the prescription ( ex. validity , dosage ) . I’m not aware of the imaginary guideline that states they don’t have to disclose why they can’t fill my own medication when that’s not lawful but we’re all the crazy ones. Staff is very rude ( besides the cashiers and two male techs i’ve met) and seems like it’s a burden to help, as if you forced them to work there. I quite literally stood there and let the pharmacist with orange hair ( which is one of the people I spoke with on the phone) raise her voice at me like im a child saying “ we’re not filling it your doctor yelled at me!” All i said was okay and walked out. My doctor apparently called her and advocated for me after I let her know they won’t fill it and I want to transfer( which had nothing to do with me but she probably deserved it as she is not following the law or regulations they state to have which don’t exist or are being bent). I don’t understand how I can control someone else’s actions . Also don’t know why she said that as if she intended to fill it anyway so that was excuse #6:))). Funny enough our face to face encounter was an hour after i called them. I never asked for her help or the medication in the store and just asked the gentlemen that was helping me to cancel my prescription & if he could check my address. She only intervened because when i told him i need to cancel he went to go receive the file and ask her for help and see if there was anything he could do. I heard her say to him “ NO I’m not filling it “ (i didn’t even ask her to fill) before coming up to me .Her attitude is bad like most of staff. Each of them had their own stories and couldn’t give me a concise answer and would reroute to blaming me for not finding another clinic stating I “ should not be confused” and to “go get it filled somewhere else”.I was also mocked by a tech on the phone (before the call was transferred to the lady with orange hair )for not understanding why this is becoming a big issue being told in a purposely fake remorseful voice “ohhhh:(, you don’t understand?? :(it’s our policy :))))” and other condescending things(which I recorded the entirety of both conversations) The manager called me this morning and stood right behind her lying staff not apologizing for anything and saying she isn’t disclosing a single thing not even the radius of where I have to be from the clinic even tho i was told prior .Her voice gives off that she hates life but she wasnt as condescending as the others , but sounded half asleep and bored. She was still rude. Not sure why she called when after I left the clinic I moved on and had it transferred somewhere else. being nice the whole time wasnt worth it

The worst experience I’ve ever had!!!
No empathy!!! There’s a discrepancy with my medication, the medication should have been $11 and for some reason the code is charging us $114, the original pharmacist that helped us with an attitude told us the medication is being charged more than normal and that she would need to contact the provider but she couldn’t do it right away bc she has a line and there’s people waiting, wonderful customer care already. She advised us to return in 40 minutes, we did, to be greated by a new pharmacist who advised us if we are here to pick up we can only have the $114 drug not the correctly priced one, bc apparently we just pay whatever the pharmacy wants us to pay, depending on how busy they are. Why were contacted to come in if my medication wasnt ready? Why is it my fault that the medication is incorrect? Why is there such a lack of empathy from your employees on the front line?

They have some questionable policies, it almost makes you feel like a criminal. I had purchased some things as a cash purchase and decided later on to return some items. None of them were expensive (like anything there is). The most was like around $9.99. The cashier asks me for my ID. I was like why? It's a cash purchase. I didn't purchase alcohol or anything that would require an ID for a return. The cashier tells me that's what the prompt says and he can't continue the return unless I give him my ID. I reluctantly gave my ID to the cashier. They scanned in my ID. I felt like, why is this happening and I feel like I am being treated like a criminal. They are gonna keep this on file. The last thing you need is another company with more information on you having a breach and there goes all your privacy and info. I think people need to question why are they collecting your ID and why it is being allowed especially if it's a cash purchase. I no longer feel comfortable shopping at a place where they treat customers this way.
And as for the pharmacy, where there's lots of complaints. I think my main concern is that they should make sure to tell customers about new medications they are given - the warnings etc.. before they give the medications to walk away with - consultations like Walmart does. That would be better.

I'm not one to give bad comments but I went to change something I bought by mistake and the manager didn't even have the kindness to verify and gave me a resounding NO and left me talking to myself which I think is very rude and the Customer Service is bn Important

If I could give zero stars I would! This has to be the WORST Walgreens in history. The pharmacy should be shut down. They have no customer service skills, they do not care about thier customers and their health needs. They should really take into consideration that this is ppl medications they are handling. Playing with lives. Hold times are ridiculous then they hang up you. I have given them several chances and each time I am disappointed. I have transferred my meds to CVS and the experience was completely different. THANK GOD FOR CVS! Never again Walgreens.

Worst Walgreens i've ever been to. Photo orders are always a problem. Understaffed. Prices have gone up so much. Just purchase a item at Publix or Amazon and do yourself a favor and go to a better business with better service and prices.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The pharmacy is absolutely horrible! There is no one answering the phone during business hours despite a request to call them regarding a prescription refill. I will no longer do business with them beside that the cost for the medication is a high comparing to other pharmacies. Finally, a female with a heavy Jamaican accent answered the phone, and she was extensively unprofessional! The conversation went as follows: her: when would you like to pick up your prescription? Me: as soon as possible, please. I can pick it up as soon as it’s ready, tell me when; her: the longer you keep me on the phone, the longer is going to take me to fill your prescription: me: why are you being so rude, I’m simply asking when is the prescription for the pick up:…. Conversation did not go well. I hope someone will listen to the “recorded line” and make some adjustments because this was completely out of line for a “professional “… I just can’t believe it and for the record, I was on hold for 13 Minutes. Goodbye Walgreen! Moving all my prescriptions to Publix. Their pharmacy maybe not open to 10 pm but they are so accommodating and polite.

I was busy at work all day one day preparing for a business trip the next day and I had to pick up a very important prescription from Walgreens. The Walgreens pharmacy drive-thru is open until 10:00 p.m. So I pulled up to the drive-thru at about 9: 45 pm behind another car and I was waiting there for about 10 minutes. No one came to the window to help the person in the car ahead of me. I pulled out of the drive-thru line and drove around to the front and made it into the store around 9:57 pm and ran to the back to the pharmacy window. When I walked up to the counter, I said to the woman behind the counter that there was a line of people at the drive-thru waiting. She said with an attitude, "now they know how it is in here". Then she walked up to me and I gave her my name and birthday, and as she started looking up my prescription, she said, "well you're lucky because you made it just in time". I said, "well I was one of the ones that was in line waiting outside". Then she mumbled something under her breath that I could not understand in response. I asked her to repeat herself three times, and each she just didn't say a word and ignored me while she pulled my prescription. After I paid and she handed me my prescription, she said a very curt "thank you" and quickly turned and walked away. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any pharmacy. It's unacceptable. Won't be using them anymore. Judging from other posts, I'm not the only one

I got here 10 minutes before closing and they said the manager is already counting the money. Imagine trying to get pads and that's the answer you get.
