Always something at this store. This last visit will be my last to this location. Waited in checkout for 10 minutes while cashier dealt with dsd. Tell him to wait just a moment. I had a car full of family and had to go somewhere else because both cashier and dsd didn’t respect customers time. News flash without us you have no reason to check things in. Winn Dixie is closing soon and I have a feeling this location won’t have long left like this.

Love going here!
The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the store is always Clean and Organized unlike some other DG's I've been to. I've lived here my entire life and have never had an issue at this location! 10/10 in my opinion :)

ATTENTION: An employee at Dollar General, located at 2800 Jefferson St., in Marianna, Florida called my husband the N-word on the morning of 2/21/2023. He didn't know her name because she wasn't wearing an ID badge, and when he asked to speak to the manager, she stated, "I AM the manager." My husband and I both reported the incident. We received a call from a woman named Jackie who stated that she was going to the store on the morning of 2/23/2023. However, it is important to note that she stated that it was "hard for her to believe" that this particular employee called my husband the N-word because the employee is married to a black man. REALLY now. Fast forward to this afternoon. I called Jackie for an update. Jackie told me that she took statements from the employees, and abruptly told me that she handled the situation, and rushed me off the phone. I just visited the Dollar General, and this woman is STILL employed there. NO APOLOGY. NOTHING. PLEASE SHARE.

I was having a rough day and saw the employee Theresa who is known to ignore me and my friends of course she did this just walking past as if she didn't see a human but much to my surprise the younger cashier greeted me and told me how beautiful I was. I have discoloration of my face she complimented me. I was overcome with acceptance I appreciate her seeing me as a person.
