About Matlacha Menagerie
Matlacha Menagerie is a beautiful, eclectic art shop and wonderful artist colony filled with stupendous treasures, vibrant art, and many wonderful things. It features local art with a Floridian island vibe, including works by local artists, jewelry with a Florida flair, garden art, wind chimes, pottery, books by local authors, and Florida Christmas decorations. The store has a great selection and reasonable prices. While it has lots of items, only one room is dedicated to local offerings. The back patio offers a relaxing spot to look at mangroves. The owners and staff are great, welcoming, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. It is a very cute gallery and a true gem for finding a gift or souvenir.

Store had lots of items but very few local. You can find a souvenir here for sure, but only 1 room with local artist offerings. I ended up purchasing an item from Mexico..not what I went in for, but still wanted to support the local business.
