I worked two 8 shifts and walked out. Let me explain. I am not being xenophobic
- There were 5 customers in line and the assistant manager tells me to clean the coffee pots. I take the coffe pot to the back sink the inside was disgusting. With my years in food service, it was obvious this and the other coffee pots have not been cleaned at all in months. That was it for me. I was ready to walk out and quit (it was that bad) Also I have worked at 7 Eleven before and technically they are suppsed to clean the pots with specially made cleaning tablets designed for the coffee pots. I mentioned this and I was treated as being subordinate.
- The coffee machines with the fresh beans hasn't been cleaned in months. The bean containers were full of moisture and mildew from neglect. There are unique tools to clean these machines including cleaning tablets which are to be kept under those machines and there are nowhere within the store. When I told the assistant manager, he took it as me being insubordinate.
- Was told by my co-workers to change the expiration lables for the hot foods (mini tacos, pizza etc..) instead of making fresh food. Be careful when buying pizza slices and boneless wings, mini tacos, and potatoe wedges. Tecnically 7 Eleven requires employees to check the temperature of the cooked foods every two hours . Both thermometers were broken and there was no log sheet to even note the food temperatures. No one washed there hands during the shift I washed mine frequently and made sure my coworkers noticed it . They never processed the message I was trying to tell them Very disgusting. We handling peoples lunches and snacks
-Crumbs and grease build up under the food areas that have....yeah it is bad
-Anorher franchise owner who cuts corners by not buying cleaning supplies. Everything is cleaned with paper towles which in food service is kinda gross and unsanitary. Technically the owner is supposed to have a fresh supply of cloth towels. The cleaning bottles were empty and the owner did not have any cleaning supplies to refill them. Was scared to ask.
- When it came to training the Indian assistant manger and owner were gaslighting me. They would show me "half way" on how they would like something done. When I would do the task, they would say I was doing it wrong. When I tell them "but you didn't tell me that" they say I should ask questions and say I am being insubordinate. But any new employee should not have to ask questions if they are properly trained then questions would not be needed. It is the 7 Eleven Indian franchise owner way in Brevard county. On my first shift he made me sell alcohol to students with invalid identification. Their id's were questionable and I let Sam the owner yave the final say. Clear proof of him putting profit over State and county laws.
A good way to see how filthy a 7 Eleven is to open the doors where the garbage cans by the coffee and hot food area. These haven't been clean in over 6 months at least. the filth around the trash cans under the coffee counters and by the condements. The manger and owner does not have the proper gloves and especially cleaning supplies to fix the food and health hazzard. Least he loses $20 in profit. You as a customer are noting but money to him. If you were more than that, than his store would nor be filthy. Do not be fooled. You as a customer have right to eat and drink food that is made in a clean and sanitary enviornment.
7 Eleven is an excellent brand a good choice for convenience and fuel but when I see what I saw in two shifts and in other stores , I understand why people go out if their way to Wawa, Cumberland Farms, and Circle K. (btw as of this posting, Circle K is slowly getting ready to purchase the 7 Eleven brand and its stores - the company is in financial trouble.)
Safe travels and happy and healthy snacking to all.

Employee acted cocky and arrogant and didn’t honor current promotions that were prominently displayed and tried to overcharge my friend and I.

I would have given the store zero stars if I could have. Right after a remodel the new owner (not American ) and his new employees (also not American) can't even keep it clean, or just won't. The bathroom had a foul smell, feces on wall and urine everywhere. The employees won't even acknowledge you or get off their phones. And they have tried to overcharge me more than once. There are rumors in the community that they are scamming customers and the new owner is a complete crazy man who hates our government and people. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY THERE.!!!!!

What a terrible store to go into, the guy that works overnights (Jason) is a heathen, he talks about BDSM and being a slave to the Indian owner. He said he wanted to be wearing latex to work but the people in the community might get offended. He was very upset that I was ticked for waiting so long and punched the counter....not safe for women in there. I came in one night and he had high heel boots on. You can't even find him in the store when you come in, one night I waited over 15 minutes until he came out of the bathroom, I asked for a pizza and he said the brand spanking new oven was broken,

Disgusting new owner, I stood in the store for about 20 minutes and watched him bark orders at the older woman as she rang up 20 people while he stood there and did nothing. He was talking to a customer about how corrupt the government was and telling a young indian kid that worked there that our government was corrupt and trust no one. What about your government in India???JS

Rude older lady accused me of spilling coffee (which I absolutely did not). When I explained that to her, she said “oh, I’m pretty sure ya did”.That’s ok. I only stop in every day. I’ll be sure to patronize the one in Indiatlantic instead.
