We ended up at this hotel due to a hurricane evacuation, and it was the best hotel stay. So good that I will plan on staying here anytime I’m working in the area in the future. The staff was so nice and helpful, particularly the front desk agents and head of operations, Eric. The rooms are nice, and the bistro is excellent. Great and unique menu items with delicious food. The young lady who ran the bistro is very helpful as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

Marriott has an incredible team at this location. You can tell what people are made of during difficult times, and Hurricane Milton is just that. Yet from the second I stepped foot in the door and was warmly welcomed by Pamela and then Theresa, this team rocks. We arrived way earlier than check in time due to less traffic than anticipated, and they found us a room that was ready. From there, their hospitality just continued to soar. I heard multiple hosts/hostesses at the front desk calmly and kindly working through frantic calls from people trying to flee the hurricane, answering current guests requests, and checking in more guests. While some people are understandably stressed and afraid, this entire team stepped up big time. During our 4-night stay, we were served fantastically by a team that included: Theresa, Pamela, Andrew, Stephen, Vincent, Tyler, Erick, Jean, Aida, Johnny, Vanessa, Britney, Janise (sp?), Delise, Zulma, Vierge, Victoria, Nelice, Witner (sp?), Maya, Chantalle, Lownise, Nubia, and Ray. Whether maintenance was fixing an overworked ice machine or bistro staff were serving much needed coffee and food or housekeepers we accommodating all sorts of requests and laundry workers kept towels and sheets fresh, they were spot on. Ty et shared that Marriott helps make it possible by bringing their families in to stay during the hurricane so they know their loved ones are safe and can focus on the guests. Kudos to Marriott as a corporation and to this specific crew at Courtyard Melbourne West. Our gratitude runs deep.

Wish the market was an option for breakfast. I missed the 930 window by a few minutes and lost the breakfast I paid extra to receive

Stayed at this hotel twice in the last 2 months. Even though they're doing renovations it's still a great place to stay. Rooms are modern and clean. I would love to see the finished building once the renovations are done.

Very good room. Staff was very friendly. It seemed like the staff genuinely enjoyed being there. Didn’t even notice they were doing renovations on the place. Highly recommend to people who are staying in the area temporarily or visiting Florida Tech.

Being a lifetime Titanium Marriott status I always expect more from a Courtyard and always come away feeling like I got less. No comp breakfast. Was given two very small bottles of water checking in. Staff was nice enough it's just how Courtyards roll. It is my least favorite Marriott property because of this.

The hotel is undergoing renovation but they are doing a great job of segregating the affected areas from the guests. It is clean and modern. The staff and management are excellent! We stayed in a room that has not been renovated and still found it comfortable and clean. Everything is well done. Look forward to returning after the renovations are complete to enjoy the upgrades!

Great location but first they put us in the wrong room and then the correct room had a very dirty sink. Breakfast was grab and go and minimal and then the second morning, breakfast wasn't even available and we had a tournament to go to for soccer. Very disappointing.

We came because my husband was attending Sea School and we have had a wonderful stay. I am my Mother’s caregiver. She has dementia but loves people and needs social interaction. The entire staff is like a wonderful little family. They looked after me and my Mother with genuine care. We had to be on property much of the day since Mom walks with a walker and is very slow to get around. I would take her for walks around the ground floor and we loved talking with all the housekeepers and maintenance staff. Everyone was so respectful and friendly. We felt at home and will truly miss everyone.
This hotel is aging but the staff works hard keeping everything clean and well maintained. We saw nothing but hard working while we were here. Marriott pay attention to this group! They deserve a lot of commendation and praise because they make this hotel amazing!!
Rooms: Well-appointed. Everything you need. Microwave, Refrigerator and coffee maker. Everything works. We were able to enjoy simple meals and drinks in room with ease. We always keep our space clean so we appreciated these items while staying for a week. Eating out gets old and expensive.
I’m not a fan of the innerspring mattress because it hurts my back and hips. So that’s my reason for the 4 stars as well as the wear on the sofa cushions. But everything was super clean and comfortable otherwise.

My stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania was incredibly disappointing. While I've visited three or four times before and typically had a pleasant experience during our trips between Massachusetts and Florida, this time was a stark departure. While the check-in process was handled warmly, the condition of the room left much to be desired. The caved-in mattress provided an uncomfortable night's sleep, and the discovery of only one used towel was wholly unacceptable. Moreover, the absence of coffee both in the room and downstairs was a frustrating oversight, not befitting of Marriott standards.
When I brought these issues to the attention of the morning manager—a heavier set, older female—her response was nothing short of unprofessional, condescending, and insincere. I've always gone out of my way, driving an extra 40 to 45 minutes, to stay at this location, but after this experience, I will never do so again.
Noteworthy details: Make sure that they provide clean towels, coffee, and a bed that’s not caved in

Nice hotel close (not walking distance) to cute downtown Melbourne. The middle of the complex has a good sized pool and a green area with trees. Everything seemed fresh and well maintained. The room was large and had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. It was very quiet when we were there and there was zero noise from the pool, and we did not hear any traffic noise either. For breakfast we walked to an awesome nearby Cuban (Havana) restaurant.
