They have an employee in their named Dina or something like that that is very rude. I have watched her on a number of occasions getting conflicts with customers. Will today she had about 10 customers stacked up in line some of them had already in line for several minutes, including me. She finally opens up the self-service check out stand. And then would only service somebody that was at the very back of the line. When I made a comment as to such she became a smart mouth. Other customers were shaking their head over her behavior. She continued to make smart mouth comments while smirking. As for her name in the corporate number. She gave me her name but she said oh you can get it off your receipt. In order to make sure I was making a complaint against the right person I snapped a picture of her. As soon as I snapped a picture of her she proceeded to kick me out of the store. Yes corporate was contacted. I took the picture so it could be emailed corporate so that they make sure and got the right person, I would hate for the wrong person to be fired. Most of the time when you walk into the store in the evening hours you have to yell hello in order to get somebody to come up and check you out.

I had rode my bicycle to the store because it's fairly close but I was planning on purchasing a few things so I brought my bookbag. I walk into the store and grabbed a shopping cart at the door and proceeded to set my bag in the cart as I didn't want to leave it outside but at that time before I could even get into the store a Caucasian older woman I'm assuming is a manager stated to me. "You can go" I wasn't sure who she was talking to so I looked behind me to see I was who she was talking to so I replied "say that again ma'am" she said "You can go!" I have never been to this store before but if the backpack was an issue she could of told me to leave it up front or something to that effect and I would have understood infact as I am a business owner myself who has dealt with a lot of theft myself and I personally can't stand thieves. I'm not sure if that was the reason because "you can go!" Was her only response so after the second time I was very confused and taken back I then said " I'm here to buy some things" and she pointed at the door. Now as a business owner I understand that every business has the right to refuse a customer but this was unwarranted. I am a young male in my 30s and it was clearly profiling. I was in gym shorts and a t-shirt so I don't know what about that made her judge me in particular but I don't need to steal especially from a dollar store... I make more than she makes a year in a month infact not to sound stuckup but this was really rude and uncalled for. No worries I won't be returning there but I just want you to know if you ever come in my store she will be greeted with a smile and given a chance regardless of sex, race, financial status or age like the American way all created equal.

Just pick up certain items at DG a couple times a month. Some items have a better price than Walmart, but most are higher.
Use the coupons and shop on Saturdays. Saturday coupon is 5 dollars off if you buy 25.00.
Don't forget to check the size of the item. Price may be .50 cents less, but item may be 4 ounces less.
DG used to cost less than Walmart, but now DG has changed the size of packaging.

This is a great location for a convenience store. They are attentive and very pleasant to talk to if you have any questions about something you might want to buy. There are many refreshments and snacks, including chips and cold items, low-cost coolers or beer that's chilled. They have home cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products that are always available, including many shampoo choices. They have family care, condoms, otc medicine, firewood, bags of ice. This is a really nice, ample sized store and everything is easy to see for the customers.

I showed up ten minutes before they closed to get a gallon of milk when they refused to let us in. Which is somewhat understandable but the worker's didn't have to be super rude about it.

I love the staff here OTHER THEN the night manager. (I’ve heard her be called Jo) She is absolutely not helpful, never acknowledges when her line builds up, and has commonly and openly been very rude to her own staff. She has sucked her teeth , whined and huffed and puffed every time her co workers have asked her for any sort of assistance. I visit this location maybe 4 times a week and absolutely DREAD coming here any timePast 6. Once again, store manager is a SAINT. Her staffing are all sweet. But man, this one manager needs some joy in her life.

I have been going to Dollar General for many years. I can usually find everything I need. We have a new store opening a mile from home so I know I will be there more often.
