Because I took my stuff out while still paying for the unit they freaked out made me fill out some letter of intent to vacate, disabled my login, immediately sent it off to their "collections" department who they told me I had to wait for a paper letter from, so that I had no way to pay my balance. Terrible communication and structure for paying late fees. I'm trying to give these idiots money in person/by phone and they wont let me. Taxes overpriced anyways you end up paying 75/mo.

DONT USE MIDGARD STORAGE. I have one outdoor unit with no lights or ac and I paid almost $500 for the month of February. Every 2/3 months they have raised the rent by about fifty dollars. I got charged a $71 late fee this month( my bad I guess) and a $10 fee to pay over the phone. This place will rob you blind.

I did not have a good experience speaking with the female manager today. I called the number on the door 5 times to speak with the manager when they are not in the office. She didn't respond to any of the calls. I then found her inside the parking area. I let her know that I no longer need storage. She said I need to put in an intent to vacate with no clue as to how or where to find this information. I called customer service and was told I needed to get the form from the manager. Yes, the one who could have let me know that I need to get it from her. I was also told I needed to give a 30-day notice to vacate. Yes, a 30 day notice not 60 days! Unless you know by the last day of the month before you intend to vacate, you are charged two months to vacate. I just paid December (5 days ago) and must pay the full month of January which is more than 30 days! Most storage facilities will prorate the amount and only charge the 30 days but not this company. I am disappointed with the lack of service from the manager of this company along with their definition of a 30-day notice. Other storage facilities in this area have superior customer service and much lower monthly fees. I suggest not wasting your time or money with this storage company.After calling the location as suggested from the response by the owner, the end result is that this business is deceptive in their communication. They sent out a price increase on December 1 which is effective in January. If you don't read the email on December 1 and contact them on December 2, that you want to vacate by the end of December, then you are too late. You will be paying for the entire month of January. That is deceptive as they could have sent out the communication at least a week before the 1st of the month to give people time to give notice to vacate. Sending the communication on the same day is deceptive! Just another example of why you should stay away from this company. Look them up on the Better Business Bureau site and see the complaints and F rating!!

I recently rented 2 climate-controlled storage units. Since I wanted the units to be side by side, I visited the rental office. The representative who showed me the units was very nice & helpful. But in order to get their first month free special, I was advised that I would have to register online. Unfortunately the web site does not allow you to see whether the unit you want is available. So, I was then advised to call to reserve the specific units I wanted. The telephone correspondent was also very nice and quickly reserved the specific units I wanted.

Quick and easy rental at a convenient location. Unit was clean and ready for use. Attendant was very professional and courteous. Would recommend to a friend.

I rented a pickup truck for 1 day from Saturday to Sunday. The location was closed in Sunday and the app didn’t work, so I just parked the truck on their parking lot and dropped the key into the box as it was said on their website. But they charged my card for 1 more day like I returned the truck on Monday when the location was opened again! I tried to call them but they never answered the phone. I’m so disappointed! Will never use this service again especially in the weekend!

I only give a 1 star review as I cannot give a lower rating. It is about money. I moved out of Midgard Self Storage in Viera, on September 29th, but they charged my card on October 1 for the entire month. I do understand that a 30 day written move out notice is needed, which i will admit I did not give, as I wouldn't have moved out if I had not received a $30.00 rate increase. To keep this short, it is now a the storage center saying they sent an increase notice, and us saying we did not receive the notice. First, they have to give a 30 day notice for the rate increase, which they did not do, and 2nd, we cannot prove that they sent the notice. So, to sum it up, they win and we lose. And just to note, I retired from self storage after 26 years, so I know how it works. Customer service means that you do things to improve business, not hurt it. Do Not store at Mid Gard, as they think $198.00 is worth the bad reviews I will give them to everyone I come in contact with from now on.
