We had an older Havertys set purchased in 2012. All motors are still working and set looks great. We just decided to purchase a new set. I met Darlene upon entering the store and told her what I was looking for. She lead me to exactly what I wanted. Big hug and thanks Darlene!

Sales Associate Jennifer was wonderful. She listened to our ideas, our concerns and provided us with helpful information to make our final decision. She was very personable, obviously very informed about HAVERTY products, but was not forceful in trying to get our purchase. She had recommended trying their online design tool, noticed we had used it and made a point to involve the store's Interior Designer, Patti, to further assist us. Upon our return to the store, she greeted us warmly, asked if we had further questions and had the store designer meet with us. Between the two of them we quickly made a style and fabric decision and proceeded to make the purchase, which Jennifer patiently walked us through.
We are very happy with our experience at Haverty's.

I would like to offer a suggestion to anyone considering the purchase of a foam-style mattress and to comment on a return policy that may not align with customer satisfaction expectations. Recently, I purchased two Tempur-Pedic foam mattresses. While they felt excellent in the showroom, my experience at home has been quite different. After reading several online reviews expressing similar concerns, I found them to be accurate—the mattresses have proven to be uncomfortable and have caused back discomfort.
Fortunately, Havertys maintains a generous return policy and is willing to accept returns on most products. However, with Tempur-Pedic mattresses, customers are required to keep the product in their home for a minimum of 30 days before initiating a return. I understand this is a policy mandated by Tempur-Pedic, which Havertys is obligated to follow as a retail partner. Still, I find it surprising that a reputable retailer like Havertys would agree to such restrictive terms that may compromise the overall customer experience. I have already arranged for the return of one of the mattresses, but I must now wait over four weeks before it can be exchanged for the Beauty Rest mattress I selected as a replacement. In the meantime, I’ll need to sleep on my couch, as I cannot use the overly firm older mattress, nor can I continue using the Tempur-Pedic due to discomfort. Although my second mattress order was able to be switched before delivery, it is being shipped to a different residence in another city and is therefore unavailable to me here.
I sincerely hope Havertys reconsiders its return policy arrangement with Tempur-Pedic, as it has the potential to lead to further customer dissatisfaction. That said, I would like to emphasize that I remain a loyal Havertys customer. The store continues to offer high-quality furniture and exceptional service, and I appreciate their presence in the marketplace.

I was at the Melbourne store today, May 23rd, ready to purchase a sectional living-room piece. Unfortunately, the customer service was terrible! For the first time I felt as if I was invisible. I looked around at a few items waiting for a sales rep to approach me. Not one did. Twice I walked to one sales lady, asked a couple of questions about a piece I liked. She didn’t even make an effort to walk with me, she simply pointed at something similar 20ft away. There were other sales people on the floor, some busy with customers, some not. It was then that a couple walked in - and right in front of me were greeted as VIP’s! Not sure why I received this kind of treatment, but I am sure I will never step at this store again!
PS.: @ Customer Service, if you care, check your store camera, and you’ll see just what I just described.

Guardsman Warranty service was less than good but then wee went back to Havertys. Brother were we pleasantly surprised! Warranty covered part of the cost of the replacement but Havertys covered the rest! Ethan our sales rep has been there 4 years and is a true professional and great person.
