Today , I visited Hertz rental car in Melbourne Florida. The customer service representative Neo was beyond what you expect when it comes to customer service. He was kind, polite, considerate, empathetic, and provided the best customer service that you would ever want. He’s definitely asset to the company.

I want to give a huge thanks to Cam, Neo and Bobby for helping me when the other companies in the airport seemed to offer no further assistance. They went above and beyond the call of action to make sure I had appropriate transportation while I was visiting Florida for work. They made me feel appreciated as a customer and if I ever were to comeback through MLB airport I wouldn’t choose any other rental car company outside of this extremely professionally ran staff at hertz.

Got a car with a four day rental. When I rented the car car I did not change the return time. The daily rental was $28. When I noticed the mistake, I called to change the return time, same day, 4 hrs later, there was an $8.32 per/hr charge. This would have made the change more than the daily rental. This is a joke, the daily rental is for the entire 24 hr period,

Do NOT rent from this Hertz branch at MEL Airport. Despite being a loyal customer with high-tier memberships and significant annual rental expenditure, I was charged a $225 one-way fee when I had to return the car to a different location due to a family emergency. Despite explaining the situation, the management showed no flexibility in waiving or reducing the charge.This location, privately owned by Brevard Capital Group, seems more focused on maximizing profits through fees rather than prioritizing customer satisfaction. Unlike standard Hertz-owned locations, which typically charge a concession recovery fee of 5% of the contract, this branch imposes unreasonable fees. See the attached portion of my contract for verification.

I have never been treated worse at a Hertz location. I travel for work and book with hertz pretty much every week. The staff there - Bobby treated me as if I was a suspect the entire time. Doubting the validity of my corporate Amex, accusing me of having an expired license though it had just been renewed, refusing to give me the vehicle I booked, and even going so far as forcing me to cancel my reservation and book a lower tier vehicle before giving me a vehicle at all incurring me an extra cost. The vehicle I ended up getting drove like crap, and had a low tire as well. I am presidents circle and generally pretty hertz loyal, but this interaction had me considering a different rental company moving forward.

Believe the 1 star reviews. The manager there (can only assume it was Kim—super unfriendly!) should be fired and hire someone who actually understands the customer’s situation/complaints and try to provide the best service possible by making things right—you know, so people actually want to come back & rent from them again. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere…

I have rented through Hertz multiple times at multiple locations and have never had a bad experience until I came to this one. I spoke with the manager, Kim, very unfriendly and unhelpful. She would not rent me a vehicle, stating my license was expired… it was clearly not. Ended up going to a different Hertz location nearby and got a car rented within 10 minutes. Terrible customer service, I will never be returning to this location.

Kam and Bobby were so helpful. Changed my reservations times so far and heard no sighs. The other guys were not helpful the last time I used them.. Go with Hertz.

If you find yourself in the Melbourne, Florida area and require a vehicle, I would advise against booking with Hertz. This particular location is relatively small and, as a result, they tend to impose additional fees, such as insurance charges that were not requested, as well as charging for more days than the vehicle was actually in use. I personally spoke with the manager, Kim, and she was unwilling to listen to my concerns. Therefore, I highly recommend considering alternative options and perhaps traveling to Orlando International Airport for a more satisfactory experience.

I had an unfortunate experience at a HERTZ car rental branch that left much to be desired. While traveling from Miami to Orlando, the windshield of the car I had rented from HERTZ unexpectedly came loose. Seeking assistance, I made my way to the nearest HERTZ location, hoping for a swift resolution. However, to my disappointment, the staff at the branch refused to provide a replacement vehicle. Left with no other choice, I had to undertake the unsafe journey to Orlando airport in order to secure a safer car.

I went to hertz and had an amazing experience my day was going bad and everything that could go wrong went wrong. however I was met by a representative named sunny and she changed my whole life she was inspiring loving knowledgeable helping I'm talking about the epitome of customer service to the core. she represented the core values of what love is, she was understanding and helpful and helped me out in a time ofdesperation and my time of despair I am happy to say that I met her and she helped me through the process and hurts need more employees like her she was great I appreciate this experience and I will never forget it I will be returning customer because of you thank you sunnny
