This review if for store employee Desiree. I went to the store this week and found something I love and wanted to see if they had more. I was asking someone for help and Desiree came out of the fitting room and said, follow me and spent a good while trying to help me find what I was looking for. This is hard to find nowadays and she is the best! She made my week and I feel someone should know. Thank you Desiree.

This is our favorite Homegoods/TJ Maxx location. They have the best selection, especially seasonal items. We also enjoy their stationary/knick knack aisle. Their skincare section is top notice if you're into that and I've scored items sold at Sephora on their clearance shelf. It can get a bit crowded, but the line always moves quickly.

This review is only about the food I purchased in their gourmet food area. I purchased a bag of chocolate covered salted caramels that were sprinkled with peppermint and a box of Walkers shortbread cookies.
When I opened the bag of caramels, I picked one out of the bag the chocolate had all turned white. Which I've seen before. It usually means it's old.. but not usually bad. I was wrong. They were terrible! When I looked in the bag I saw that everything was melted into a big blob on the bottom of the bag and it all the chocolate had turned white. I immediately threw it away.
Then we opened the package of Walkers Shortbread fingers. My husband and I each took a bite... and we had to spin it out! There is no way these are Walkers Shortbread. I don't know where they get this stuff, but it is not the original product. It wasn't that these were stale they were just awful! I've been eating Walker shortbread for years. I even used to have a monthly Subscribe and Save order from Amazon. Whatever this was tasted like flour and salt were baked into little squares they were terrible! No buttery flavor, no sugar!!
