My fiance and I have filed with Jackson Hewitt for over 6-10 years. I went into this location for the first time.......which is completely sketchy the guy took copies of all mine and children social security and id for the early advance and had me sign an envelope with my email, phone number and name. But never crunched any numbers in front of me at all but proceeds to tell me that was it...didn't give me a Jackson Hewitt card or anything....idk what these people are doing but if any of my information is improperly used I surely will be contacting the BBB and a lawyer.....

***Scam Alert** The girl who did our taxes was ok, however when I made the appointment I was told I would get a 50% discount if I walked in and had my taxes done versus dropping them off. This is a scam as at the END of my appointment the girl vharged me $700.00!! When i asked about the first time client 50% discount, she said i had to have a coupon and that the coupon was a maximum $200 discount. That is ridiculous for one hour worth of work for a W-2 and a self-employed very minimal information. I have never paid so much to have my taxes done. Last year I paid 1/4 of that and had the same outcome with the same information to do taxes . She wasn't going to give me the discount saying I needed a coupon. I explained to her when I made the appointment I was told i would get a 50% discount for being a first time client. Nothing about needing a coupon. She then said she could only give me a $200 discount. Which 50% of the outrageous $700 price should have been $350. I feel as though she overcharged me and gave me a \\\"discount\\\" and ended up getting overpaid even after the discount.

The tax preparer was very nice, but I had no idea how expensive it would be. I'm a retired school teacher and money is so tight. I am overwhelmed.

I hate to say it but you need someone atleast one person in theoffice that actually knows how to do taxes. The women had me with my calculator doing all the math. Asking me what I thought this ment and things like let's give it a try it might work. I left with zero confidence and did not file through your services. Please train her it's not her fault you put her here with no help.

Did not like the cost of filing standard. I stupidly did not ask this question first . Past experience I expected to pay even up to couple hundred...but was charged $569. That was with a discount. Then after, I learned could've applied 50% off coupon. So when I called to ask, was told by the answer service they do not take calls I have to go in person. I'm sure I'll be going in after the holiday weekend.The tax preparer was nice, did a good job, saved us money but again, I was just blown away at how much I was charged. We had an agent do our taxes this year as we had some extra things to file on. Didn't want any mistakes.Think I'll be going a different route next time.

Our preparer Sawsan Krempel was very theror when doing our taxes. She found more energy credits credits from installing or solar system. I went back home and found the paperwork I needed and she got us a rebate instead of paying taxes. Thank you.

I stopped in as a walk-in this morning. They were busy so I made an appointment for 1 pm the same day. I come back. And I'm told that it will be another hour at least. They just started the service of another person. I ask what about my appointment at 1 pm I scheduled earlier this morning. Oh. I'm sorry sir. We don't have you on the list. I just chuckled and left. Thinking to myself. Thanks for sparing me of your service.

I should have read the previous review for this place. Not sure if this is consistent with all JH locations but this place is sketchy. They wanted to charge me over $300 for a simple tax filing with an extra HSA form. And that included their $100 off for being a new customer. No thanks! I took myself to HR BLOCK where they don't act like used car sales people and only charged $115. Go elsewhere.

To pay seven hundred and fifty dollars for someone to do your taxes wrong that's ridiculous if you're gonna do taxes get them done by a real c p a not just by some run the mill place like this And yes i've had my taxes At this location I really appreciate the one manager lady she did her best to figure it out but jackson hewitt is for the birds

Buyer Beware!!! This specific location grossly overcharges for their services. Not only that but they operate with a clever failure to disclose how much their services actually are before processing your taxes, then once complete they somehow concoct and try to validate what your processing fees are for what they have done. When you call to talk to someone or have questions you will only reach an answering service. The self proclaimed "CEO" of the store will not even provide you with her name. Their "services fees" totally deplete and swallow any potential refund you may be entitled to.
