I am trying to grow my gray hair out so I had decided to cut my hair a little above shoulder length. My hair stylist talked me into a pixie. I am bald I have never seen a pixie cut like this literally I am bald in the back and maybe an inch all over the rest no style no shape it’s horrible awful I will never go there again. I had my first of many hair appointments to come with Master Designer/stylist Tricia! Tricia is UH-MAZING! I've been in the area over four years and have been to over 15 stylists and either they took over three hours to wash/condition and curl my hair or they were late to appointment's or they would do multiple people at one time or they used cold water to wash my hair or their technique was antiquated or the salon itself was outdated. I have two products that m-u-s-t be used on my hair for it to look professionally styled and Tricia was amenable to both AND had them on hand without me asking!
Now, the chair Tricia uses is like h-e-a-v-e-n, it is ssssuper soft and comfortable and number two she used ear covers while I was underneath the dryer-terrific! And she had the rubber neck support on the wash bowl which supported my neck (which was injured years ago). Tricia is uber efficient, meticulous, knowledgeable, current with styling trends and is personable. My. hair. looks. fabulous!! I'm booked for the next year.

I will never go back to them. A color and cut Is suppose to be 80 dollars !!! They say nothing to me and charge me 130. I'm living paycheck to paycheck. I shouldnt have tipped the lady 20. I was so embarrassed to say anything.I'm so tired of these people ripping people off. I can't afford jc penny's now it seems. I also can't afford groceries because they took all my money !!!!!! Happy Holidays you're all a bunch of overpriced greedy jerks !!!!!)

This review is for Gina... after 4 years of trying to find a stylist to do highlights and lowlights with full dimensional color and being turned anywhere from gold to orange to goodness knows what, I found Gina. she listens to exactly what you want and she makes it happen. Last week I tried going to Hair Cuttery for an in between trim and a couple highlights and she just fixed it today and did a beautiful job! My mom & I have been getting our hair cuts done here by Michelle for the past 10 years or so. She is a phenomenal hair dresser. When she was out due to health concerns, we were able to get our hair done by other great hairdressers. All the ladies are kind and friendly and on point with the hair styles the xreate. .

Melinda is the best hair stylist I've ever had. She adds volume to my fine hair without making the mistake of over layering. she is highly skilled and takes her time. I'm glad she chose Penny's salon because the prices are great. I highly recommend Melinda Pierce for a cut and highlights! JP
