Spoony @ Space Mermaid is my guy. Chatted with him last week about what I wanted, he took time to understand my vision and gave great feedback and ideas for how to make my new sleeve look awesome. First session was today and it went great. Next one is scheduled for next month.
My wife has been here a few times with Lyndsey, she is amazing as well! Shop is always clean and inviting. Can’t say enough nice things about Space Mermaid and their team.

I can’t recommend this shop enough!!! I had a wonderful experience.
Zak was my tattoo artist and he was extremely professional, made me feel very comfortable and my tattoo is exactly what I wanted! The shop is also very clean.
I’m excited to go back.

I called at noon and spoke with one of the owners. Very nice guy. Was willing to take us last minute on the same day. Made an appointment for that evening. Called me back and got us in even sooner. His wife did mine and my sisters tattoo. We got a single fine line of a conch shell during our last day of our vacation visit. Really cool shop. VERY clean! Sanitized everything in front of us before start, upon finish, and between each of us. Melissa was super easy and fun to talk with during the process. I highly recommend this shop! And I have a lot of tattoos and a lot of experience with different shops and artist. Got to see an African themed sleeve being worked on as I was leaving and the work was phenomenal!! If I’m ever back in the area (as I plan to be) I will definitely be going back for what I have no doubt will be another great experience! Thank you for making my last day so memorable and my favorite souvenir!!

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos with Mel and had the best experience ever! The artists are all so kind and friendly and the shop is super clean and welcoming. Mel did an amazing job and is the sweetest person ever. Will never go anywhere else!!

The staff is wonderful, especially Tina, my favorite artist there. Everyone there is so friendly, which makes the place feel so welcoming and great, which is why I'm sure this is the greatest place to get tattooed. If you're looking for a great place to get tattooed, this is the place to go. You won't regret it.

Absolutely lovely experience at Space Mermaid Tattoo with Lyndsey (Lyzard). She did a viking compass for boyfriend and an enso symbol for me. Her work was exactly what what we were looking for (paint brush/sketch style). She also touched up his Taino sun! Everyone in the shop was super friendly and hospitable. Looking forward to many more tattoos to come from Space Mermaid!

I drove 40 minutes to a tattoo consultation appointment with Mel just for her to tell me that the tattoo is gonna be out of my price range. I was in the shop for a total of two minutes. She had the reference photo and my price range prior to the appointment and could’ve saved me a 40 minute drive and gas by just telling me the tattoo wasn’t gonna be in the price range I had. I’m extremely upset by the experience i’ve had and would never recommend a place with customer service like this to anyone.

Zak was sooooooo INCREDIBLE!! He took me as a walk in and was an absolute PLEASURE to work with!! This being my first tattoo, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautifully phenomenal tattoo and artist!!! Less than an hour to bring pure art to life!!!!

I came to town for my honeymoon and searched around to get a tattoo to commemorate my trip and I found space mermaid tattoo. What a great shop! Zac Diamond did an amazing job tattooing and designing the idea I had. He is a cool, funny guy and super talented! The shop was clean, inviting, lgbtq friendly and as a woman it felt really comfortable to be there. A lot of shops lack that but this one was one of the best experiences I’ve had. I live in Chicago and if I lived closer I would definitely come back! I would encourage anyone to get a tattoo at that shop!

Myself, my sister and my niece were on vacation and looking for a nice place to get a tattoo. Space Mermaid came up and we knew - this is the place! Space - love it. Mermaids - love them. We're in! We called to make sure they had availability for walk-ins and Spoony answered the phone and was awesome from the start to end with the small matching waves my sister and I got. Def recommend this place!!!!
Specialties: Since my niece wanted something anime-themed she was sent to the specialist there and he was incredible. This was her second tattoo and she was nervous and started feeling sick shortly after they started. Zac stopped and made her comfortable and helped without making her feel bad.
Cleanliness: The shop was welcoming and clean.

What a phenomenal tattoo shop! Tina is absolutely amazing. Super clean lines, I can't say that with enough emphasis, SUPER CLEAN LINES. Finding a good tattoo artist is a difficult thing but when you find one, have seen their work first hand on other people and know the quality you're going to get, you feel like you've struck gold. Tina is that gold.
Thank you for my awesome tattoo. I couldn't be happier and will definitely be back to see you again!
