I have lived in Melbourne my entire life and came across a Matt Kechele board 15 to 20 years ago and a friend of mine knew Matt and took me to meet him and had my board signed. I loved that board, it was by far my favorite and still is.

Legendary boards made in Brevard county. Don't buy a $900 Lost or Channel Islands and look like a kook at the inlet, get a better board for less $ shaped by a pioneer and former pro. The mod fish model goes unreal as a 3 fin or quad in flatter faced waves, tons of performance for a fish. The Grinder model is a perfect "Florida shortboard" with just enough rocker to keep you from pearling, but still skating across flat spots. Go see him!
