This is my first ever review of a company. I will be filing a better business bureau report after this.I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION.Dropped off y Car on Nov 16th, after having to wait three weeks for an appointment to drop it off for a repair expected to take 24 days. This place had no record of my "appointment", and made it seem as if it was my fault for that.Once my car was dropped off, they had it taken apart by the next day. They then proceeded to let my car sit in the lot, taken apart, for three weeks. The did no work on it, and then blatantly LIED to me and told me it was because my Insurance took that long to approve the repairs.Dec 7thI called my insurance to ask why this is the case and they showed me exactly when the request was submitted, and it was less than 48hours after platinum werks submitted it.... nearly three weeks after me dropping my car off.This resulted in me having to cancel a nonrefundable trip, and my holiday plans, because they could not have the car done before the holidays.Jan 3th.I called to check on the status, was told it is being put back together, and will most likely be done by Friday, but was told their policy is to not give a completion dates.Jan 10thI called to inquire on status and was told it is in "Detail" and should be done soon, but was not provided a completion time or date.Jan 12th.I called during their Operating hours at 5:30pm it took 15 min for someone to finally answer the phone, from another department, to check on the status of my car. No one was in the shop to provide a status. So apparently their work hours are not as advertised.I have no clue of the status of my car, I've not been contacted by them since Dec 7th, and literally am left with no rental, no car, and no clue when that will change.I do NOT recommend anyone ever doing business with this company. Go somewhere else... You will regret your experience if not.

Dan & Zoila.I wanted to related a story about the outstanding service I received from Jacob Childress last Saturday …I arrived at your shop from the Melbourne Airport last Saturday, July 15, at about 7:50p. Jacob was also arriving at this time and was getting set-up at his work station. He very politely let me know that he needed a few minutes to get set-up and logged into his computer.After a few minutes he was ready to interact. I informed him that I was there to pickup my 2016 Porsche 911 and Jacob went to the file to look for my paper work. Nothing. He politely informed me that the car was not ready to go. I told him that I had informed Zoila that I was coming on this day to collect the vehicle and all should be good to go. I do not think he believed my statement, but politely agreed to reach out to Zoila to confirm the story which he was able to do.Ultimately, he discovered that the car was not ready to go and could I come back on Monday to pick it up. I explained that I had a flight back to Pennsylvania at 3:00p that day and needed to return the car to Vero Beach and get to Orland for my flight. Jacob explained that the car needed to be cleaned and buffed out prior to delivery. He asked if I could wait 45 minutes while he cleaned the car and buffed the front end. I agreed and he proceed to run over to the shop to begin work.In 30 minutes he completed the work, we settled up on the bill and I was on my way to Vero Beach.I am relaying this story because a young man took control of a situation and coolly and professionally worked to own the challenge and work to satisfy the customer, me.You truly have a gem with Jacob and someone that has a bright future in whatever he decides to do with his life. I hope you see the potential in him that I do. I have been managing people for more that 50 years and have a good eye for talent. This kid is a talent and I wanted you to know.Thanks for taking good care of me and my vehicle. I will come back next time I need body work in Florida. Many thanks.

Hopefully, my review will help you avoid my mistake of using this shop for your collision repairs. As a business owner my self I understand situations happen however, honestly and integrity should be key for all business dealings. At Platinumwerks Collision Center in Melbourne, they don’t have neither. At this time I have not received my vehicle but I will update this review when I can actually see the completed repairs. What I can say is, don’t trust the timelines provided by the team. The completion date will definitely change and you will receive no notice. You will only learn that your vehicle is not going to be ready when you call to check what time you can pick it up on the date provided.My vehicle was estimated on 8 days for completion. Hidden damages appeared and it was added an additional 20 days, that is understandable. What is not is that each time you call to make sure you can pick up the car, there’s a new pick up date where you weren’t notified. You will get several excuses, one employee will say that it was because of an emergency the technician had, another supervisor will say that it was because of parts delayed. Stories don’t line up. You’ll get a new date, call to see when you can pick up your vehicle and a new date will come with some other reasons. Communications is terrible and to be well established place of business, I was not expecting this type of experience.In my opinion, if you have the option to use a different, more reliable shop, go with that option. Nothing to see here.Again, I will update this review when I see my vehicle and hopefully everything turns out ok with the car. However, at this time I have 0 trust in this place. I would never bring any of my cars and hopefully, you, consumer reading this do repeat my mistake either.To me this also came as a well recommended shop but it seems like they shouldn’t be well recommended anymore.

Update 6/21- Still no returned phone calls or emails. Two tone half painted new BMW. This place doesn’t even deserve to be on the website for BMW as a preferred shop. I would have towed mine to Fields in Orlando if I would have known the subpar work this shop does. Tried to trade it in it was so bad at BMW and they said this repair job was horrendous. I will spend a couple of thousand dollars from my own pocket apparently fixing a problem that should not have been one with a preferred ship.Brand new limited edition BMW. Goes in for repairs because someone likes to text and drive. They return with the tires almost flat and the trunk isn’t even sprayed to the custom color of car. No clear coat. Took five months and they didn’t even paint the whole car. Sales guys says you will get it back just how you bought it. Beware because you won’t! Now I’m going to BMW of Melbourne tomorrow to see what I can do to actually fix my car 100%.

Wow. Excellent service. Jacob and Todd kept me informed of all work done and every step of the process. All damages were repaired with OEM parts. Paint matched perfectly and they went above and beyond to blend in a paint chip that was there before I brought the car in. Platinum werks also took care of all dealings with the insurance claim. Really nice experience from start to end. Had a few insurance hiccups but Dominic went to bat for us & took care of everything. Did a great job repairing my BMW and I would definitely recommend for body repair.Services: Painting

Took my BMW to Platinumwerks Collision since they came highly recommended by BMW in the area. They had my car for a month. The bodywork on the damaged panels was superb but there were other issues that came to my attention after the fact. Platinumwerks did not do much to try to correct the situation and I had to come out of pocket to repair and replace some of the items that were not up to my standards. They installed new tail lights that had internal damage and burnt out bulbs, left a very hard adhesive residue on one of my passenger doors that was not there before and broke my stereo system. The whole experience wasn't great to begin with as it took so long for a small repair, and the lack of professionalism and willingness to correct their mistake is not okay for me. I decided not to continue dealing with it and fix it myself because it's apparent they didn't want my business to begin with.

I recently purchased a 2017 Porsche 911 4S in Carmine Red that had substandard work done on its rear bumper. I saw the shop manager Danny Baker who personally looked over the entire car and recommended a small dent on drivers side be taken out as well. When I got the car back the repairs made to the rear bumper were perfect, the paint was a perfect match and I could not be happier as my car was returned to me looking as it was when it came from the factory. The painter by the name Ray B. deserves many kudos (great job done) as I know painting to match color, luster, and texture is an art, I am very happy with his workmanship!Services: Painting

I had to use Platinum Works for a rear end accicent repair to my vehicle. The customer service from everyone there was amazing. Austin the tech mgr was helpful, kind, and kept me informed every step of the way. My car was delayed (not their fault at all! Supply chain issues!) and Austin was very apologetic and made sure he updated me the entire time regarding repairs, timeframe, and the next steps. This made a potentially stressful situation go a lot smoother. The team there works hard and they try to deliver the best service. Very grateful!
