Have driven by this cozy looking restaurant many, many times, but last Saturday enjoyed one of the best dinners I have had in many years of dining out. What a quaint and cozy, very clean and relaxing place. Very attentive wait staff who answer every question with great knowledge of the food and it's origins. I noticed the table next to me was enjoying what looked like a sampler dinner. I asked "Pete and Kim" who were there for Pete's birthday dinner about the food and excellent was putting it mildly. We had all three been up "north" and enjoyed polish food many times and many places and compared notes on some very enjoyable favorite places. Pete and Kim both recommended the sampler platter and they were so right about the word excellent. The starter was a delicious, full flavored Cabbage Soup that I didn't want to waste any of. My sampler platter came a while after I finished the soup (perfectly timed) . The platter was very generous with pierogi's , polish sausage, roasted potatoes and the best Cabbage Roll I have had since I was a kid on the far. The care and effort that goes into all the food is so evident and we, the diners get to enjoy fantastic meals. I got to see the piece of "Apple Cake" that Pete enjoyed as his birthday cake and shared with Kim. Next time I am saving room for dessert! Delicious food, lovingly prepared and served by great staff in a beautiful place. All for a very affordable price! I will be back OFTEN and would not hesitate to recommend Salt & Sweet to anyone. You can't find food of this quality these days.

This place was hyped up to me by someone who had very good experience and food at Salt and Sweet in the past. Very disappointing. I had the bone-in pork shank, it was greasy, salty, fatty, not good and not what I expected for a twenty five dollar dish. Another way to put it - seemed like they boiled the pork shank in grease then roast in the oven for a spell. Awful. A couple others had chicken and they were not happy, I tried some and it was dry. Service was feeble, these people who run the place seemed bored and aloof. I will give good marks for their potatoes and salad - the house dressing was good, very sweet and garlicky which I do like. Otherwise overpriced and not worth the trouble.

I was looking for a Lentin Friday fish and perogie fix, and I found it. Such a quaint and special find. The service was pleasant and reserved, but attentive (4/5). The atmosphere does project you into a different secret place compared to the shops around it (5/5). Initially I wanted to try the rainbow trout with perogies, but unfortunately at first it was not an option. The chef heard of my interest and allowed me to substitute out the other side, which was a fantastic boon (5/5). The homemade balsamic was original and well balanced in taste, unfortunately it was not homogeneous (the oil split) (3/5). The red cabbage was delicious and the homemade horseradish cream was challenging but paired well with the rainbow trout. A triumph of flavors (4/5). The perogies... the cheese and potato filling was perfect (5/5), the portion beautiful (5/5), but the cover was tough and thickly crisp and a tad oily (3/5). Overall a (4/5). I definitely suggest trying this little boutique and suggest trying to split your fish and perogie as I did. Will return.

I think I died and went to heaven!! Still sitting here having my dinner and I love it so much I just had to write about it. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the food is amazing! The cabbage soup is very flavorful. The baked ribs is a must try - so tender, the meat falls right off the bone and it's beautifully presented with sauerkraut and the most unique potatoes I've ever had. An absolute win and will return here often when I'm in the area!

The nails turned out great but had a very long wait to be taken in so I was only able to get a manicure, as there was not enough time to get a manicure and a pedicure. Waited more than 2 hours just to be seen, as not all of their people showed up to work that day. However, I believe that was only a one time issue, as my mom still decides to go here.

I had my nails done two weeks ago and made an appointment for today at 3pm. The nail beautician who scheduled me forgot my appointment and left for the day. No one else at the salon could accommodate me or made an effort to reschedule me. Very disappointed. I will not come back or recommend this salon.

Took my car into Melbourne for service so took the opportunity to have an early lunch at Salt and Sweet...I had the Polish Sampler Plate with the salad and house dressing...was really, really good...the house dressing was delicious...the sampler plate included 3 different pierogies, a perfectly cooked polish sausage, and a golobki...I had never had a golobki - meat stuffed cabbage roll - and thought it was all great...the tomato sauce on the golobki was spectacular...I have included before and after () pictures...a fabulous find...will be back many times.

This place has found new and amazing ways for me to consume meat that I wouldn't have considered before. It's like a revolutionary meat delivery system. With fun beer. I'm so into this.
