“I did a walk around with my 2 & 3 year old boys today. Although I won’t be taking them to this daycare facility due to fees for ELC members and can not afford them. I wanted to really thank the lady who gave us a walk around. Out of every single daycare I’ve visited, she was the only one who showed compassion when she saw me struggling with my antsy kids. She pulled my 3 year old to the side, she helped him put his shoe back on, gave him a book to read, and held his hand while gathering paperwork for me. She showed compassion and understanding, and she knew how to bring my 3 year old back to reality, where she showed him that he can be an educated and civilized human being. I really deeply appreciated this moment of kindness. We need more caretakers like her?”
“My daughter attended for two days last week. She was quite fussy on the first day, but her teacher handled her with great care and patience. When I went to pick her up on the second day, I was expecting a similar situation—but to my surprise, she was already adapting and happily engaging with the other children. She didn’t even rush to me when she saw me, which was a reassuring sign.
She is the only child of color from an immigrant background in her cohort. As a parent, it’s disheartening to witness how people in this city can sometimes treat individuals differently based on race or background, regardless of their education, behavior, or kindness. My only hope is that KinderCare continues to care for her simply as a child—no labels, no biases.

“Having grown up at jelly bean junction I have fond memories of friendships that I still have today and of teachers that influenced my life.
Now my son goes there and he is almost 2 years old. The moment you walk in the door the admin greets you with a smile on their face, call you by name, and treat you as family. When you walk your child to the classroom you are likely to encounter multiple teachers that will also greet you with smiles on their face even if your child is not in their class. The teachers you drop your child off to are always welcoming, and if you or your child have a hard time with drop off, the teachers are there to comfort. Even all the way up to the owner, with his frequent visits to the facility he’s always ensuring quality of the building, the teachers, and amenities. All while still treating everyone who walks in like family. Me, my wife, and our son absolutely love jelly bean and recommend it to anyone looking.”
“I can't say enough amazing things about this school! My 3 year old daughter loves coming here and talks about it all the time even when she's home. She has blossomed into such an amazing whole little person because of this school. The staff is professional and kind and you can tell they all really love the kids so much. “Both of my boys attended here for 3 years and graduated VPK. I can't say enough good things. It's a small, tight knit environment and the women are all so amazing. If I ever contacted them they answered immediately. The class sizes are small so compared to the large daycare they used to go to, they hardly got sick here. They learned so much and my son who entered elementary school got praise for how well prepared he was. We will miss our Sunshine Learning center family greatly!”

“I must say this. This school has been by far the best school. My children have been attending the school since it opened. The staff is very good sometimes I have came off alittle to strick as a parent and they understood they didn't get frustrated they remain professional at all times. Now the PRINCIPAL this year is by far the best principal in this position. She not only cares for the children but she cares for each and every parent as well. She's a Mother first and a wife second and a principal last. I truly admire her because the principal role is very important also very stressful and u need a strong woman that can handle the weight. Keep pushing but by far the best school I highly recommend”
