Made an appointment for Saturday to get passports for my husband and daughter. John processed our applications, he was a joy and definitely brightened our day. Made us aware of some helpful guidance regarding renewals, etc. Everything went smoothly. Thank you, John!

I went this morning (12/4/2024). It was roughly about 840am. Office opens at 830am. I stood at the designated start area and watched John (tall, caucasian guy with glasses and salt and pepper hair) walk from one end of the counter to the other. Head down but I know he saw me when I walked in. He's talking to himself that he needs more passport forms. Disappears to the back. A lady with glasses comes out and I asked her if they were open or needed time. She says yeah he's in the back, he'll be right out. Lo and behold... here comes John from the back loudly "mumbled" - "if weren't open, the doors wouldn't be open." Rude. We met at the counter and gave him a "good morning". Needless to say no matter how grumpy John McGrumpy is, I showed kindness. Needless to say I'll make every effort to not get service from John again. He's rude and unprofessional.

I've been to this post office twice had horrible experience with employees being very rude and unnecessarily condescending both times. This last time John was very argumentative and absolutely rude for no reason. I made a passport appointment for my 17 year old daughter. He asked for her drivers license and I told him she did not have a drivers license and that she only has a school ID and he talked down to me about how everybody that comes in there has a drivers license at 16 years old and that he never seen a 17 year old with a drivers license. He also said that 16 year Olds are considered adults and that I didn't even need to be there. He just went back and forth with me for several minutes, very very condescending. I've never been to a business where and employee talked so horribly to a customer. He has no business working with the public with that attitude. I will never step foot in that post office again!

I've visited this post office many times for various issues. Sometimes a lost package, change of address, shipping something, etc. I've found the staff to be helpful. Each time they've solved my problem with minimal steps. I don't think there's more I could ask for.

Waiting on a package to come to Melbourne Florida, it went fron Indiana, Kentucky ,Miami, came to Melbourne then the Postal service sent it to Orlando. Idiots

John was rude as hell and probably shouldn't be permitted to interact with the public. I don't enter a post office with high expectations, but this experience is the worst I can remember. Had already been marked as a no-show for our appointment when we showed up on-the-minute, with John insisting that we were required to check-in 10 minutes early--the appointment email mentioned no such thing, and there is nowhere to wait anyway as this is a post office, not a medical center. 10 minutes later he agrees to "see what he can do, but if the next appointment shows up I'll have to take them." My wife is active duty military deploying tomorrow, we don't need more to deal with. We came on time, we followed our email instructions to the letter.

I keep getting mail addressed to people who do not live at my address. I leave it in the mailbox with a note for the mailman and he refuses to take them back! Melbourne FL mailmen are the most unfriendly, disgruntled and lazy postal workers I've ever encountered. Then again from the increasingly bad reviews here it seems USPS management don't give a damn.

Would give negative if i could. The worst post office i have ever had to deal with. Never receive any of packages even though my apartment complex uses a paid parcel pending locker system. Then they tell you nothing they can do. Its to the point i have things sent to a family member who lives 1.5 hours away because i just assume this post office will not deliever it.
