Met Dr. Gonzalez today the new owner as of Monday. Was extremely impressed with his knowledge and attitude. Felt like my dogs care came first as we discussed possible surgery which we decided not to do. He could have easily convinced me to do it but chose not too. I also expected to pay for his evaluation and did not have to pay. He stated that helping the community was his top priority. I feel much better about this practice now but given he just started give him time. Will have no qualms about coming here again and following the doctor’s recommendations.

If I could give a zero rating, I would. I went to Dr. Lawrence when my pup developed a double hernia on his bum. As she told me what she needed to do for my pup to fix him she seemed almost robotic. No emotion in her what so ever. After she was done talking down to me I was given the estimate for the surgery. A mind blowing $5,500 with the possibility of more charges. needless to say I never have been able to afford it. But, yesterday I took him to True Veterinary clinic in Melbourne, and had my mind blown again, but in a good way this time. They sat with me and discussed the unrelated issues that I was there for and they worked up an estimate to get my boys teeth cleaned. And just so I knew the estimate was for the hernia surgery too. The surgery plus teeth cleaning together would be at the most $1,600. I couldn't believe it. But, a pictures worth a thousand words.

Great experience getting my babies X-rayed for breeding health tests. Polite, accommodating, and gave us a solid impression they would take great care of us.

Fantastic service and staff. Our dog Mr Barkley needed knee surgery and they've been excellent! If you're pet needs an orthopedic this is the place!

Dr. lawerence was very rude and uncaring of our feelings. She rattled off everything our dog needed and the 14,000 price tag like it was nothing. Her bedside manner was horrible.

Staff and surgeon were top notch! I have seen other reviews about the price but surgery is not cheap and it is worth every penny for your pet to have a normal life.

I was a little nervous after reading some of these reviews but I had the BEST experience with Dr. Lawrence today. She took the time to explain to me all of my dog’s issues (unfortunately quite a few since she’s 15) and the potential options and risks. She laid out the next steps if I wanted to move forward (CT then potentially 2 surgeries) but I did not feel pressured at all. I’m so grateful I found someone so knowledgeable and thorough and compassionate in Brevard. She doesn’t beat around the bush but I prefer to hear it straight. Her staff was wonderful as well and encouraged me to follow up if I have more questions (after I already had a lot). I was there for almost an hour and a half but it was well worth the time and money to understand the full picture and potential path forward. Different strokes for different folks I guess but my experience could not be more different from the negative ones described.

Great doctor and team. They are easy to get ahold of, answer questions and clearly love the animals. We had TPLO surgery performed here after our normal veterinarian (Cocoa veterinary hospital) recommended them and I agree this is probably the best place for that type and other similar surgeries.

They do not tell you that you can not be with your pet during the evaluation. Skip this facility if that is an issue - we did, even though it cost us $180.

First red flag should have been that I was charged an $80 deposit for an appointment but in need and referred, I went.Let me start by saying this is about dr Lawrence and has nothing to do with the vet techs or receptionists here. All of the people working in this office were extremely kind, except for the money hungry, cold dr Lawrence. Upon arrival (I was a referral) I told doctor Lawrence I would be asking for a second opinion for my dog (who has a fractured leg) and more than likely going elsewhere for the surgery if needed to have it done close to family. Upon telling her this, (mind you, I had just clearly cried to the vet tech because I am alone and haven’t slept since the incident Monday) this woman looked me in the eyes, rolled hers, and told me “well I guess were done talking then”. Before she abruptly left the room, she decided to snidely tell me “oh by the way, most places are booked for months good luck figuring that out” .The only thing this woman wants to do is operate and take your money, zero concern for myself or my dog. Horrible bedside manner would be an understatement. Even if I had the surgery here in Florida for my dog I Wouldn’t give this woman a DIME. (Which is sad because I would have loved to support a woman’s business, but I’d rather go to a man that respects me) Demeaning, condescending, and quite frankly not helpful. I paid $300 for her to telll me “well I guess we’re done talking” after I explained my situation and told her I respected her opinion and wanted to take that to a surgeon where I’d be having it doneWHY DO THE VET TECHS HERE MAKE LESS THAN THE SURGEON BUT CARE 15x MORE.AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless you want to deal with car salesman behavior from a grown woman who calls herself a medical professional that cares for animalsUpdate: I found a surgeon specialized in my dogs breed for a third of her pricing

Not great bedside manner didn’t seem like the Dr loves what she does just there for the money. Will charge you top dollar for surgery. Get a second consult let me tell you I found a genuine surgeon down the road doing surgery for my dogs leg for 2,000 $ less. Also if you want to have the exam done with your dog and you in the room don’t go here because “they don’t do it like that around here” per words of the Dr.Thank you for being the way you were to us because now we are in great hands somewhere else that actually cares about other peoples money and emotions.

They took such good care of my dog! She needed surgery, and they made sure I knew all the options. Great experience! I hope she doesn't need surgery again, but if she does, I would bring her here.
