My mother came here for a strut repair that was told needed to be done a month ago. She brought her car back to them to get it done last week and got a call saying it was her sway bars that needed to repaired and not her struts. My mother (not knowing much about cars) asked them why they told her it was her struts last time and they couldn’t give her an answer. She agreed to do the service anyway. Come to find out after she spent $500 for parts she didn’t need put on, her car still had the same problem when going over bumps. She brought her car back and they changed their story saying that she needed struts but that her sway bars were worn so it was a good thing they replaced them. They told her they would give a discount on labor for the misunderstanding. She took her car back today with the intention of not spending over $400 and came back with an $800 bill. The man that told her about the discount didn’t remember saying any of that. He ended up giving a discount but also lied about how much it would take them to do the job which ended up being 3 hours worth of labor. Don’t come here. this company thrives on ripping people off that don’t know any better. If you have money to waste then feel free. If you want an honest mechanic that will diagnose the problem the first time and doesn’t lie for a extra couple hundred bucks, this is not the place.

I told him that I wanted a brand new race truck and I bought a crate motor for $2,500 race accessories, roller, rockers.. roller rockers cam all the parts necessary to make my truck faster. For about a year he had my truck he was not being transparent on what was to get fixed. So after a year of waiting I get the truck back at all, it didn't go any faster. The pictures he originally showed me of the engine was not the same that I got had to take my truck to another mechanic to get it fixed which cost me $3,000 to get it fixed and up and running that ends up being a total of $10,000 that I am out and still don't have the truck that I wanted this is no lie Jim is not a good mechanic I don't recommend

Poor service. Needed a new transmission in 2 separate s-10s they lied about everything and over charged me up as much as possible. Almost 10,000$ later and no vehicle in motion, I have the main , “tech” coming about me questioning about my trucks with a sarcasm that makes me feel like he could care less. Would never suggest to anyone or rate highly.

I highly recommend Jim’s Auto to anyone looking for a great honest auto mechanic. I took my vehicle to the dealer for vibration, well they told me that the fuel injection system needed cleaning and spark plugs!!! $2500.00 later when I picked it up it was still vibrating. Jim and Chris checked it out saw fluid leaking and it was my motor mounts. Thank you for your honesty with repair and price! You’re the best!

Jim's Auto heard my issue over the phone and told me to get it to the his shop. Dropped it off Thursday afternoon and it wad ready Saturday at noon. Work completed all new brakes / rotors and headgaskets. He is very knowledgeable and fair priced. I highly recommend his services to anyone. Jim is a great guy that gives good fair service. I sent my mom up there to get her AC checked out. He took her in and was able to get her AC cold the same day. I was in a pinch and Jim bailed me out. My daughter was stranded in FL with a bad fuel pump and Jim’s stepped up when no one else would. I am from Michigan and was more than a little stressed out about being so far away. Jim’s recommended a towing service and had her back up and running in no time. I appreciate the professionalism of this business and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough good about the mechanics at Jim's. I took it in for a steering problem and they took care of it. There was only 1 problem arise, the shipping of the products needed to repair the vehicle were delayed because the shipper didn't bring in all the parts as promised. Not Jim's fault, they depend on the shippers to do the job so they can do theirs. So I do not fault them at all for that. The work went expertly, they replaced the front control arms, rear brakes, and several other items. They were very nice to deal with, they will show you the problems and explain it in layman terms. They truly seem to love the work they do and are very darned good at it. I give them a high recommendation. I trust them, and in today's world, that says a lot. If you care about your car and care about your safety on the road, take it to Jim's. The mechanics will make sure it is safe and in top running condition. And they do it for a very, very reasonable price. They will work with you to keep cost low and affordable if you are in a bind.
