My mother in law made several (5 or 6) trips to donate goods for the humane society. While we are avid humane society supporters and dog rescuers ourselves, the experience at Molly Mutt was less than pleasant. First, the items were large, worth quite a bit of $ (dog ramp, beds, and many other items), and she is a woman in her 70's, that weighs about about 100lbs. The gentleman there, gruffly told her that he "wasn't allowed" to help her carry items from the car to the store "because they had been sued" for doing so. So, she schlepped all of the items inside. Once inside, she told the gentleman that she needed her tote back, as she was moving. His response was to insist that "Next time, bring it in a container you can leave." Apparently, they have limited space. Rest assured, there will be no "next time " She loves to donate to the humane society in Coco and will continue to do so, but the staff at Molly Mutt really do no justice for the humane society. Perhaps the community service isn't their dream job, but at least be decent. As ambassadors or partners, you would expect at least a basic, courteous staff. Really disappointing that the staff represents the store, in that capacity. Sadly, it's the animals that lose. Do better.

Great prices for the thrifter - today shirts were $3 each but all clothes were but one get one free. Everything seems clean and organized. Plus, all the proceeds go to help support animals in need. There’s also a great BBQ truck in the parking lot that serves up tasty food and donates to the organization each month.

This store is cleaner and more organized than the Rockledge locations, has the largest selection of cross-stitch/embroidery kits I've seen, and a lot of clothing, but nothing that appealed to me. Supports a good cause.

The prices there are great, found some cool stuff there. The ladies there are nice and helpful. It's a small place but had some good finds and was clean and organized.

Store attendant, owner/operator, was pretty rude. Went to donate here as I am a lover of animals and would very much appreciate knowing any help I could give goes to animals. I walked around the store once while the attendant helped others, who seemed like regulars. It was a little disheartening to see most of the stuff in here was not usable and probably should have been thrown out when compared to what the Goodwill gets down the street. But nonetheless I knew I had some nice things that would go to a good cause. But when I was asked if I could be helped, and I offered that I had a few boxes of goods to donate I was met with a nasty look and rude demeanor, it's was kind of bizarre. She said she wasn't interested...weird right? So I am thanked her and left the store. She followed me to the parking lot and flagged me down as I was backing out and said she would "take a look at what I had..." in a manner that seemed like she felt she was doing me a favor. I popped the trunk and she peered in and then again, with a nasty demeanor turned and over her shoulder said "not interested!" Shame this person who is an advocate for the animals in a way is such a poor representative of the cause. I went to good will and seen my stuff go to good use still.

Dropped some stuff off and was told it wasn’t the right season and they didn’t have storage. I offered politely to take it back and was told they would price it cheap to move it out of the store, will not shop or donate again.

Only giving one star because the man working today is extremely rude and completely ruined my experience.

Nice ordinary thrift store. Prices are reasonable on products. But one thing I am suspicious of, is the .85 cent charge on a credit card purchase. They have this at ALL of the Humane Society thrift stores. I wonder where that money is going, is it really a credit card fee?....but today everyone uses plastic, and many small businesses, even people under tents at festivals, take cards with NO fee. If their card machine service is charging that...they need to get with another service, it is 2023 after all.

? Clothes, Media, Footwear, Art, and More! ?Molly Mutt is located a short drive away from the giant Goodwill Thrift Store in Merritt Island. It’s on the smaller end, but filled with a little bit of everything (golf clubs to glassware) and has great prices. For example, DVDs are only $1.50 each. The beautiful artwork facing the window as I walked up grabbed my attention immediately. There’s also an adorable black lab sculpture to greet you when you enter (see my pics!).There’s a bathroom/changing room so you can shop at your convenience and try on anything that catches your attention.

A lovely thrift shop with lots of stock and reasonable prices. I personally didn’t find anything to purchase here (I was looking for very specific things), but I loved browsing the store. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.
