Unfortunately, my kitchen knives were sharper when I dropped them off than after I picked them up from being “sharpened.” At least it only cost me $6 per knife.

Starting off by saying that this is the first review I’ve ever left for anyone/anything… so that goes to say such great service!!! I had so many things to sharpen, given a past sharpener did a poor job and he was so awesome about showing me and discussing what he saw. From the beginning he was so quick with responding, getting out to me, and keeps you up to speed on everything! He even got things i may have needed out quicker so i could continue working while he worked on the rest. I’m so happy knowing all my equipment is back to working order

We have been a customer for years and have always been satisfied. They add years to your tools with a long lasting sharp edge. They have a quick turnaround and will get your item back to you fast even if they are busy (the most we had to wait was 3 or 4 days tops- for a large lot of tools). It is so nice to have freshly sharpened chefs knives. Could we have sharpened the knives ourselves? Sure, but they wouldn't have come out nearly as nice. The gentleman who answered my email (email their actual email address and not through their website) called me back to direct me on where to drop off our knives. The only negative is the lack of communication after drop off, but now we know and will ask better questions next time. We will absolutely be bringing all of our sharpening needs to Samurai Sharp. Thanks again for the sharp job! I'd say you're a cut above the rest!

This place is awesome,I've bought a few knife's from this place.they are so friendly and patient .and I love that they can take an old knife and basically make it a new one sharper than it was originally for $5 unbelievable they can even put new handles on your knife I bring one or two knives or machetes or hatchets to them on a frequent and ongoing basis it's the best deal going.

I can't say enough good things about Samurai Sharp, excellent turn around time on my grooming shears, and my coworkers as well! They fixed some shears that other sharpeners destroyed, even a pair I knew to be "dead" he brought back to life. 10 out of 10 would recommend to ANYONE in the grooming/ barber industry. Did an excellent job on my 20 dollar shears, as well as my 700 dollar shears.

Brought in a Shun butcher's knife for sharpening. The knife is 4 months old.. not impressed. The edge came out ruff and duller than I had brought it in. For lesser quality knives they may be ok. For higher end blades I would bit recommend.

They showed up to our grooming salon after lying about the company they are, charged me $84 to “sharpen” my tools. There was absolutely no difference, when I reached out via email I did not hear back from them (it’s been almost a week). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They lie and charge you for services they don’t do.

Dave is just a wizard, he says he's "OCD" and I say he's a conscientious, dedicated, incredibly decent guy who took care of my late sister's rusty carbon steel knife for me as if it was his own family heirloom. He even reached out to another knife expert to see if we could figure out the maker, maybe Universal. I've used his services in the past, bought a nice gift certificate for my son's birthday (which he loved). But this, today, off the chart, way above 5 stars. And so incredibly reasonable, I had to leave a tip to pay him what I thought he should have charged me!
