Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I had a great stay at this low key hotel. Peaceful and relaxing, not what you typically think of when you think Miami Beach. In much need of unwinding, I was grateful to be at this hotel where I felt like I was the only guest. Whether it was relaxing in the room or by the very cozy pool, I barely saw anyone besides the hotel employees. The hotel has a bar and an outdoor restaurant, which I did utilize so I cannot comment on them. I was also a bit confused as to when they were open or not. They might've been open the whole time but with no patrons!The location of the hotel is great for going to the beach and Lincoln Road. To get to South Beach, you can take the free trolley or an Uber for a reasonable fee. The hotel also has an arrangement with a nearby beach for a free beach chair and towel, which is great. But no umbrella, as I learned the hard way.I suspect that all the rooms are different from each other. Mine was comfortable and I enjoyed spending some time just watching TV. The bathroom is the biggest downside. Almost no counter space and no shelves in the shower. It makes it very difficult to maneuver, ever with just one person. As for the price, it's reasonable... for Miami Beach.

I stayed here for 8 nights and was terribly disappointed in how such a nice hotel went from being lovely and caring to desperate and cheap.No phone, inadequate tv, toilet one inch from wall, no shelves in shower, shower door fell off one time and they repaired it, refrigerator in closet with your clothes making it exceptionally hot, lumpy bed, pillows, incense burning in lobby every day, main restaurant was closed but they did have a cafe opened through lunch.Hotel needs "gutted out" and they are not doing it.Save your $$$$Nobody deserves a stay like this.Staff was friendly.

Viviana Ray Veronica are always so amazing..I feel like royalty everytime we walk into the Cadet..we have been here twice a year since 2021 and recommended them to all of our friends and family and always will! Thank you Cadet Hotel!!!Rooms: Comfy!!Safety: Always feel safe here!!Walkability: Close to food close to the beach.. within walking distance to everythingFood & drinks: Food here just started after covid but it's amazing! I love the atrium

The Cadet Hotel is a unique jewel in Miami Beach, it breathes warmth, elegance, and culture. We stayed there for a week and felt the magic of this unique place. I recommend it highly! It is a destination!

Lovely historical hotel. Very small. However, there is no elevator. Keep that in mind if you are a person who cannot do a lot of walking up and down stairs. The pool area is very serene and peaceful. The rooms itself are small and my bathroom could've been cleaned better. There was some rust in the shower from the shower stand. But there were enough toiletries for use. This hotel is in a great location. Its a 5 min walk to the beach and surrounded by many eateries.Nearby activities: Many eateries and bars are within a 5 min walk as well as the beach.Safety: I felt safe there. It's quite small. Its a historic hotel, but there are room key cards for access. This is ideal for a solo traveler.Food & drinks: They have free entertainment there on Friday evenings. A jazz musician came to perform.

My family purchased coffee from the attached cafe and sat for a moment at the cafe tables outside the hotel (seemingly for this purpose) to take a sip and get our bearings. Before all off us could even sit down a hotel employee came out and said “You can’t be here.” It was the most rude cafe experience I have ever had. I’ve never felt so unwelcome after spending $12 on a cup of coffee. If she had simply stated that the tables were for a specific purpose (aside from paying cafe guests) or showed some semblance of kindness, it would not have left such a bitter taste. **Edited to add** I think the non-apology from the hotel speaks volumes about their customer service. You don't take someone's bad experience as a chance to talk about standards. If your standards include discrimination and poor customer service, then you have succeeded.

Beautiful and quaint hotel in prime Miami Beach location. Affordable option too. My only complaint is there are limited guest services, like snacks and water/tea/coffee available when hotel lounge and restaurants are closed. Not having this seems out-dated. There should be a small self serve area or mini bar options in rooms. Thank you.

It is an historical hotel. Clean , comfortable and friendly. Don’t expect modern look or technologies in rooms and you should find it charming.

Clean, small rooms at a reasonable price. No pool. Lots of street noise. No elevator because it's an old 1920's unique building.Rooms: Small rooms. No microwave. Single person bathroom.

We love this hotel, and plan to stay here again in about two months. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was well-appointed, clean, and quiet. The staff is fabulous! As soon as we brought a concern to them, it was handled. Close to everything. You will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately poor customer service, the hotel is great confortable, however the customer service is the worst I have experienced, while staying at the hotel for couple days, I used the coffee shop to order coffee and other things, i was brutally asked to stop eating a croissant that I bought from outside as they did notHave that much choice that I liked.The lady at the reception working the morning shift was very rude asking us to stop playing piano while the piano was used late night by guests which we loved. This place should reconsider the manners and art of communication with their customers. I am very disappointed.
