This hardware store is a gem.
A little more than a year ago I purchased an art deco period house in Miami Beach and began a major year+ renovation project. I spent endless hours looking for what I needed at an Ace Hardware store in South Beach, or driving an additional hour round trip to go to a Home Depot in other parts of greater Miami, until I found Central Hardware.
Central Hardware soon became my go-to one-stop hardware store. The team there is knowledgeable and helpful, and while the store does not look particularly large from the street, it is well stocked with floors full of hardware goods, a complete paint department, and a wide-ranging inventory that a shopper might not expect in a neighborhood hardware store. There is also a large public parking lot right out the back door, which is the best way to enter and exit the store. I have done a few spot-checks on items to compare them with a couple of other stores, and found Central Hardware's pricing to be very competitive.
For overall selection, assistance, pricing, convenient location in the middle of Miami Beach, ease of parking, and the neighborhood feel of the store, Central Hardware has become my preferred local source for most of my supplies and tools.

I visited several times while working on a job in Miami Beach. Very convenient. This is a full service hardware store where you tell them what you need and they take you to the location. They had everything I ever needed while performing the work over a the month period. Opens at 7am. Free parking in rear, paid street parking in front.

As a recent transplant to the Miami Beach area, I had the good fortune to have Central Hardware recommended to me. Guillermo the owner is a fantastic individual, who has helped me on so many occasions, that I can’t keep track anymore. He is knowledgeable, personable, and committed to great customer service. Just a great place to get your hardware supplies.

No parking! No transit options from the north either. No enough selection for Uber. Skip and drive far for more parking and more selection at Lowes Home depo etc

Walked in, guy helped me find what I needed in 30 seconds, paid and walked out. I speak Spanish and he helped me in English. Not sure what the problem is with other reviews lol.

stay away from this store... I wanted some 3in screws to secure a broken table... they have the loose screws sold out of the draw bins compartments.. so I showed up to the counter with 4 screws.. unaware of the exact price I was hoping they were a dollar a piece let's say... so the guy wants close to $20 for four screws -individual loose screws..! you got to be kidding me.. looking around the store everything out of curiosity.. I noticed everything is about double triple retail.. let's just say 'screw this! 'so I told him at the counter after he rung me up and ready to put it in the bag and swipe my credit card .....I'll try to look for some lying around my house. I left them on the counter and walked out. that same day I found some lying around.

Woman at the counter doesn’t have any manners, they don’t greet anyone. They act like they are doing you a favor. Uncle Fester swears that he’s the law and that the store is his. Extremely rude people
