This one star review is because of the Pharmacy Manager Luis Polanco who treated my wife horribly at a time where she needed help the most.
We arrived in Miami for a beach vacation when our 11 year old daughter contracted the flu. Having taken her to urgent care my wife rushed to the Publix (Collins North) pharmacy to get Tamiflu and Zofran, as the Urgent Care confirmed that they already sent the prescription. She called the pharmacy to tell them that she was on her way at 5.40pm as she was literally running to the pharmacy.
Luis told her over phone that they didn’t have the prescription so she called the urgent care again to be told that the prescription was sent and that they will resend it. She arrived at the pharmacy at ~5.50pm where Luis confirmed that they had the prescription but he was very annoyed that she walked in when they were about to close the pharmacy. The official closing time is 6pm and there was plenty of time to fill the prescription. Luis refused to fill the Tamiflu prescription and only filled the Zofran as my wife was insisting that she needed at least that.
The entire time she was there Luis made my wife feel unwelcome and made her extremely uncomfortable with comments such as “we have to get to our families too” when she told him that our daughter was very ill with the flu and that the medication was only effective if taken asap.
He wanted her to come back the next day to collect the Tamiflu as it was an inconvenience for him to fill it although she walked in 5-10 min before closing time. He made many comments to make her uneasy and was rude to her the entire time.
She collected the Zofran (not the Tamiflu as it was not filled by the pharmacist although the pharmacy tech Daniella was gladly willing to fill it, he wouldn’t let her do it)
That night my daughter was very ill and we didn’t have the medication (Tamiflu) to give her and she struggled the entire night.
I went to the pharmacy in the morning to meet Luis but he was on vacation. I met the pharmacy tech Daniella who was there with the Asst. Pharmacy Manager Marsha. Daniella was extremely sorry for the incident the night before and I could see the disgust on Marsha’s face when I described what had happened the night before. Both ladies were empathetic.
We are loyal Publix customers and have never experienced this level of poor service from any Publix employee let alone a manager that’s supposed to set a good example for their employees. We are appalled by the behavior of Luis Polanco.
Someone please send him for training on “customer service” if you decide to continue to employ him.
Most people tolerate this type of behavior and only a few bother to leave a review or complain. I’m very disappointed with Luis’s actions and hope that higher management will take appropriate action so that this is not repeated.

If I could give this pharmacy no stars I would. I think it's ridiculous and super unprofessional to leave a prescriber whose trying to call in medications for a canine patient. This patient has very violent seizures and and needs this medication. Pharmacist as a whole need to do better because there's no reason I should be put on hold and have no one come to the phone for almost 15min. The pharmacist mark finally came to the phone and didn't even apologize for the long wait time. I understand we are all busy but we to do a better job at attending to our costumers. Do better!

I shop at this store twice a week and there are always dogs in the store. These are pets and not service animals. It always takes such a long time to find an employee who can actually do something about it. Most of the staff have no clue about the state law that doesn’t allow pets into the store.

This evening at 9:10pm I went to pick up Some groceries. The escalator was broken and there was a long line for the elevator. I went to walk Down the stairs. There were caution wet floor signs at both tops of the stairs. The right side was visibly wet all The way down. The left side had a woman wearing a Publix uniform a quarter the way down. I asked her to please excuse me several times - she didn't look up. When I said pardon me ma'am, as I descended the only dry part of the stairwell - she took her dirty mop and water in a sweeping motion and splashed me with her dirty mop and water several times. Hopefully you can address this with your staff. My grocery experience should never be like this I live here and I've never experienced anything like this at this store or in my life. I probably should have called the police. I came home and showered instead I'm disgusted.

I thought this Publix was super clean, well stocked and prices for groceries was reasonable. Workers here were super friendly and helpful too telling us what aisles had what we were looking for in them. Their meats looked really fresh too and not all that expensive. I would definitely shop here again.

What is the benefit of ordering the items from the app, if you still have to make the 15 person line? They used to have a place to pick up your cold cuts and cheese

Call to see if they accept my insurance the chick that answered didn't know where she was standing. So she ask the pharmacy doctor and Marsha Bloomfield said "yes" that they did. So I went in person brought my record ⏺️ f past two year from cvs. She took my licence, insurance card ,and medicaud. Looked me in the eyes and refuresed to call cvs to pull my scrips. Anyhow she told me to have my doctor wire all my prescriptions in instead. While talking to me she rolled her eyes and everything..mist have been my fault. Should've just left then. I had my doctor wire 5 prescriptions in which 3 of them where do the next day. I confirmed on the phone with publix pharmacy to make sure my doc had sent in the scrips. Marsha told me not to worry, that the next day I will be texted to advertise me that my meds where ready for pick up. 2 pm next day no text. I decide to go in person to ask for the medication that I needed. That's when Marsha Bloomfield told me that Publix pharmacy didn't take my car insurance...hello you had said yes. Made me & my doctor waist time ,to only medically neglect me.didnt even hav the decency to call me to lmk it was an honest mistake. Take your business elsewhere. This Publix pharmacy at northshore don't take humans life serious. Instead they get off by losing . And they even get paid for it since they are on Publix clock..garbage place. Detest them!!!

I came on here to shout out this Publix because now that we've moved to Broward there is no Publix just as close and the one near us doesn't have a Starbucks :(I loved walking from the building to this Publix. It's very easily accessible and since there's a lot of foot traffic cars expected and are not moving very fast. Although they were often out of a lot of stuff due to their proximity to one of the largest beach parking lot in the area, they almost always had what I needed, and the staff was very friendly. Plus the drinks at the Starbucks made it all worth it. The store layout is as every other Publix is and makes things very easy to find. I will miss it!

The reviews speak for themselves. Almost everyone who goes here is met with frowns and groans. The pharmacy staff are not interested in helping you or filling your prescription....Which is odd since this is their job? Myself - like many others have experienced nothing but rude pharmacist and staff at this location. Almost every time I'm in this location the assistant pharmacy manager Marsha Bloomfield is on her phone and will avoid helping customers by any means necessary. I have personally experienced her rude behavior and attitude toward myself along with other customers. She will roll her eyes and talk down to you and over you. Her body language screams she would rather be anywhere else than there. I have even seen her refuse to use manufacturer coupons on prescriptions and incorrectly claim that they cannot be applied with insurance.*If you notice her name tag it says something along the lines of "serving you since 2020" and when compared to the reviews over the last 2 years it is pretty safe to assume we are all talking about the same people at this location.Avoid at all costs! Especially if you like medication/medical privacy. THIS IS THE ONLY PHARMACY I'VE EVER BEEN TO THAT WON'T JUST USE YOUR DATE OF BIRTH AND NAME TO CONFIRM WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU'RE PICKING UP. They want you to list every prescription out loud in the pharmacy with other people around AND IF YOU WON'T DO IT, THEY WILL!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm pretty sure it is a HIPPA violation, it has happened to me and I've also overheard it happen in the pharmacy to other customers. I find it odd in my case as I also only have one prescription they fill and they have only ever filled one prescription and brand for me.

Daniela (manager) earned herself this review. I've always gone to this Publix and JJ and Kevin have always taken care of me . Now Daniela on the other hand was very rude yesterday. I was receiving money from western Union and it was sent under Chris and my license says Christopher. When the sender went to send it they told them my name was Christopher but Publix insisted on sending it as Chris because that's what the system had. Well they gave me a hard time and called Daniela to the counter where she was rude and clearly said " THATS NOT YO NAME". I corrected her grammar and told her the proper way to say it would be " that's not YOUR name". She ignored me and yelled "NEXT CUSTOMER!" .... fine. So I left and corrected the issue. I came back and she was at the front end rolling her eyes at customers and just being rude all around. You can't have someone with this attitude represent your brand , especially representing customer service. This was beyond unacceptable. It sounded like she said " WELL THATS NACHO NAME".... rude and very unprofessional. You're better off taking the trip to the Publix in Surfside. I'm sure they will treat their customers a lot better . Daniela, you're style is more fit to be working at a fast food joint , not Publix.
