We didn't stay at the hotel but went to the bar.
The lobby and hallway made me feel j was at an art museum.
Food and drinks: We stopped by for a drink and the bartender was amazing. He taught us quite a bit about special wines they procure from boutique vineyards.

Bunga was amazing!!!! I loved her hospitality and her quickness to make sure me and my group were feeling good! Constantly checking on us and attentive to me and my group, love her! 15/10 would recommend!!

First impression was so great, service is excellent, the apartment is new and modern facilities, the view to Miami beach, big balcony seating, food is amazing. From here you can walk to almost every where. If I have a chance to come back to Miami, Setai would be my return destination.

The first time and let me just say I wish we found this gem sooner! I was so pleased not only with the amenities but the service was absolutely exceptional! My family and I come to Miami a few times a year for business and pleasure and enjoy trying new hotels… but truly I would love to return to this location. From the time we were checked in to the time we checked out I truly felt catered to! The swimming pools are heated, and so beautiful and open 24 hours, the breakfast spread was absolutely amazing… and our suite was absolutely fabulous!! They also gave us a beach bag and two hats and of course the room slippers! Truly the staff is was made this stay so wonderful, not to mention they allowed late check out without a fuss .. I would 100% return and highly recommend!
Oh last thing I forgot to mention they have a driver service, so if you need a driver for any trip… you just need to book it in advance and they will happily take you where you need to go.

The Setai advertises privacy, undivided attention, and an escape. They executed all 3 of those ideas spectacularly during my one night stay. The two bedroom suite with an ocean view is worth whatever price they put on it.
I just wish I never had to leave. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this was a life changing experience, and I pray that I'll be able to stay here again. Thank you to Pablo and the rest of the team at The Setai for giving me an experience I'll never forget.

This hotel was overhyped. We stayed here because we wanted to experience Japan, it was a rainy day when we arrived, the staff showed us the direction to go which took us outside and did not offer an umbrella, I asked for one and felt like I put the guy out of his way. The restaurant was nicely decorated but the filet skewer and king crab sushi was fishy. The best thing I had there was the Caesar salad. And the valet parking took 47. Min. To get our car. All this sounds stupid right?! But when you pay top dollar for a service and food you definitely expect more. I will not be back nor do I recommend.
Walkability: It’s not worth it.

We stayed here while in Miami for a wedding. This was hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It is a 5 star hotel for a reason. There is so many positive things to say that I will probably miss a bunch, but I will try to recap as best as possible.
Through American Express, we were upgraded from a regular room to a suite which I think made my stay more enjoyable. We were given private transportation to and from the hotel. Upon arriving, we were greeted by multiple employees. With a few exceptions, the entire staff were extremely friendly and outgoing. Whether the pool, beach, check in, entry,etc. we were always greeted and made to feel welcome. We were told to leave our bags on the cart in the lobby and would be brought up after we checked in. We were given drinks and cool towels while we waited. The lobby always had someone outside directing cars and what I think was security always at the front entry. The elevator going up could only be activated with a room key. You could only access your floor.
The room was amazing. We had a balcony suite. There was a comfortable lounge chair and other chairs to relax on the balcony. The fridge had complimentary drinks that were restocked daily. They also had room service and Jaya which is the restaurant located on the main level. Breakfast was complimentary if staying in the suites. The suites had a full kitchen and other items that you wouldn’t bring on a trip. They let you borrow a beach bag for your stay that is in the room. Beautiful clean bathrooms with jacuzzi, amazing shower, and a bidet.
My favorite part of the hotel was probably the pool area. They had 3 pools with different temperatures of 75, 85 and 90 degrees. The pool was 24 hours and was lit up beautifully at night. The staff at the pool were amazing. You would pick the pool and they would set you up in chairs or a cabana. They would cover the comfortable chairs with a fitted towel and give you regular towels and complimentary aluminum water bottles. The beach staff were also great. Pick a spot and decide if you want an umbrella. If so, they would drill a hole in the sand for easy placement. I would one thousand percent stay here again when I’m in Miami. Five stars!

I would definitely recommend it , if you come here you have to try the Black cod , Spicy Tuna roll , Salmon sashimi , and the Sea bass . Lots of there food is excellent great environment for kids , they have shows some nights and the experience isn’t over the top but a good way to enjoy a night with your family , friends , or partner .

The Setai is gem. Although it is an older property, it is exceptionally well maintained. It staff and service level
Is truly special. From the time we arrived until our checkout, we were treated like old friends by the staff. The bell captain (Jose) and his lieutenant (Pablo) were super professional and engaging. They remembered our names at each encounter and treated us with the utmost respect and kindness.
We ate breakfast each day in the restaurant and our server (Lena) was the best part each morning. Pleasant, helpful, professional and kind.
The culture of The Setai is evident in every staff member we had the pleasure to encounter.

I absolutely love the Setai, we had a wonderful time. Many hotels begin to lack in Miami but Setai has stayed fabulous. The staff was incredibly helpful and kink. Don’t forget to grab a setai coconut on the beach :)

Today’s brunch was awful, we waited for more than an hour to get seated. Originally the reservation was outside, but even after waiting for so long we only could get a place inside. Ordered lamb chops and received burgers instead. I’m very frustrated with the service Setai is providing at this time.
