Hours: The Wolfsonian Design Store + Coffee Bar is a unique and captivating destination in the heart of Miami Beach's Art Deco district. Established in 1995, the store and café are part of the Wolfsonian contemporary design museum, founded by local collector and expert Mitchell "Micky" Wolfson, Jr. The Design Store offers a carefully curated selection of design-inspired travel accessories, stationery, bath items, household goods, watches, jewelry, clocks, toys, and award-winning Wolfsonian publications. Displayed on a beautiful 1915 shelving system by Snead & Co., the store provides a delightful shopping experience, with visitors raving about the cat yoga magnets, children's toy flamingos, and a variety of books and note cards. The recently added café serves ethically sourced coffee, drinks, cake, and pastries, in partnership with the Nandan Estate, an organic farm in Tamil Nadu, India. The café's coffee picks up the flavors of cardamom, black pepper, chili, and orange from the farm's trees, providing a unique and delightful taste. Visitors to the museum can enjoy a 10% discount at the café with their admission ticket, or they can simply visit the Design Store and Café without paying museum admission, as there is a separate entrance on Washington Avenue. This summer is an especially great time to discover the Design Store + Café, as the museum's upper floors are undergoing renovations, and the ground floor is free to the public.
