I absolutely love this gym. It’s extremely family friendly and the vibe is just great. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful especially Brian and SamM. went above and beyond to help me rescue my AirPod that fell through the stair master. Even when I was ready to give up they were dedicated to helping me. Best gym I’ve ever been a member at!Update! Lol I lost my AirPod case a couple weeks after the incident above and Sam M. Helped me search the whole gym until we found them. Again so grateful to the dedicated staff here at MLAC for always being so eager to assist, so extremely friendly and for always putting up with my AirPod fiascos! Management give Sam M. a Raise!!!

I’m taking tenía clases with my husband, we really enjoy, we did the private clases as the group one was not for our level. We are happy with the teachers and the courts.I don’t go to the gym there but I can see between 6 and 9 pm is super crowded, like most gyms, so I wouldn’t join unless I can go in a different schedule

This review is only for basketball league. Cant speak for the rest. The refs hinder the developement of the kids by calling too many fouls that are not fouls. Kids are not allowed to play defense the correct way, which will be shoking for them when they actually try a play for school or travel. What is sad, is that the league actually has some good kids, which I see no need to protect them like they are doing. I spoke to the director and hopefully she fixes this issue, but i dont seemyself returning if this is the way they operate.

The amenities that come with this membership are the reasons I think people pay for it. Such as the basketball & tennis courts, or steam room. But the actual gym itself is not worth the price of the membership. It is terribly organized, lacks basic and functional equipment, and overall it is just old. Take this with a grain of salt as every experience is different.

For 20 years I've been a member and trainer and a number of different gyms in South Florida . This club is the worst fitness facility I've stepped foot in . Let's begin with the staff .. the biggest cancer in that facility is Andrea , fitness manager , instructor etc. she is rude , entitled and the most unprofessional person I've met in this industry . She will walk right by members not say a word to them . If you go to her with a concern she treats you as if you're bothering her and rest assured nothing will be done about what you voiced to her . Front desk staff will not greet you as you walk in , the rudest staff I've encountered . Only Mario and Ricky are worth their weight in gold . It's overpriced and 60 plus dollars a month . All the equipment is outdated ( over 15 -20 years old ) they promise to upgrade never do . Covid came and went they have kept Covid hours to date . They róndeles locker room and sauna and steam .. took them over 2 years . They remove amenities yet still charge you the full price . After the remodel both sauna and steam never work properly ! It's brand new kind you and it won't function more than a week before they say it's out of order again . They just reopened it this year and it's only been functional days at a time if at all . When you speak to Managemnet about any concerns they are rude , talk down to you . They act like they are doing paying customers a favor by having what we are promised amenities to be fully functional . They will blackball you if you speak up on any of this . They try to promote it as a family club and it's all a lie . Only if your kids grew up with managements kids are u part of a family . Outside of that they can care less about providing a positive experience for its members . I strongly suggest you invest your hard earned money somewhere else . This gym runs like a $10 youfit not like a $65 a month health and fitness facility . You will never get what you paid for . You will just get ripped off by entitled washed up employees who have been in one position way too long and want to project their own misery onto paying customers : I repeat this is the worst experience I've ever had in any type of business I've solicited . Save your time and money !

I used to work out here 7 days a week back in the day but just went back last weekend to sign up and they told me to come back in half an hour because the sales rep had just left for lunch. No problem I said. I came back 1.5 hours to give him plenty of time to get back. The folks at the front desk were surprised that he wasn't back but a young woman informed them that he was still OTL. I advised her that he had now been gone for over an hour and a half when she rudely said, his lunch took a long time to come out so he's late. I then asked if I could leave my number so he could call me when he gets back and she handed me his card and said I could call him. Not for nothing but I'm here to pay money for a service and you don't have time to take my number? Someone needs to provide this team with a thorough customer service training.

Gym needs some serious updates. Whoever set up this gym has no clue how to work out. Weights are scarce, machines are from the 90s. The 2 racks they have to do squats are falling apart. The only good thing is the location that’s it.

Decent facility. A bit dated. Basketball league is decent. Tennis lessons.

Been a member here for years now (off at times, but have been coming for about 10 years). Definitely over priced even before they shut down one of the major amenities (women locker room, steam/sauna, and showers) but luckily they finally opened them up after I'd say almost 2 years closed. What makes this gym worth it really are the classes. I highly recommend Andrea's classes, I love her.

I’m going to be completely HONEST. If u attend basketball classes ur barley even going to have tie i remember I took gymnastics class and I always saw these kids outside wanting to play and were missing there classes and when I was taking basketball classes u can’t even use the court because so much activities classes dancers shows and the court is just overall busy

I used to really liked this place, nice environment, welcoming employees, great tennis courts where I used to bring my kids from time to time to play tennis. Not any more. Apparently there are rules, which they never mentioned when we signed up in the beginning of the year and which were never enforced until recently. You cannot bring your children to play as there is no guest under 18 yo is allowed. We live across the street. The courts are empty on the weekdays till at least 4 pm. Literally no one is there. My 4yo just wanted to practice hitting back the ball with her little racket under my supervision, which we did many times in the past. But today they said no, it's the liability issue. No incidents happened between beginning of the year till now, they just decided to enforce the rule. Hmm.. maybe we wouldn't get the membership on the first place if it was mentioned before.

I remember when this gym used to be good. Now locker rooms have been under construction for a year, less hours open and forget about the clean towels they used to provided.
