Honestly one of the worst locations. I am so happy I don’t live close to this one because I will never be coming back. I signed up for a membership at the coconut creek location. They were nice and friendly and I was running late and they were able to accommodate me. No mention of a supposed fee. As they were lovely and I liked my blow out, I signed up for the membership that’s 2 blowouts a month. I decided today to go aventura as I’m heading to the mall for shopping. I call to move my appointment by 15-30 minutes and THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $25. Not even at a hair salon do they do this. When I did this same thing at the coconut creek creek did they mention a fee. Had I known there was a fee, I wouldn’t have booked the appointment. I would walked in. I spoke to the manager and she was ADAMANT about charging me. I guess the $25 goes directly to her paycheck. Honestly terrible experience

The blow out was excellent! However it is not a very comfortable salon. You cannot get a shampoo without getting soaked (I’m told this happens to everyone - it’s the chair).
Next - the chair I sat in for the blow dry was wobbling from side to side causing me to grip the chair arm as it felt as if it was going to tip over. I was told the floor is uneven. Gosh - do a little something for the clients - upgrade the shampoo chairs and get mats for under the wobbling chairs.

There’s one stylist here that I really like—she’s fantastic. However, the front desk experience has been consistently disappointing. The last two times I called to book specifically with her, I was scheduled with someone else instead. Whoever is handling the phones is clearly not equipped for the job.
Most recently, I arrived for my appointment expecting to be seen by my usual stylist, only to be told she was busy and could take me in an hour and a half. I let the front desk know I wasn’t willing to wait that long when I had a confirmed appointment, so I was reassigned to another stylist. But while I was getting my hair blown out, the stylist I originally booked with was not with another client the entire time. Absolutely unacceptable.
On another visit, I made it clear that my very curly hair requires hot tools to avoid frizz. The stylist ignored this and didn’t use any, resulting in my hair frizzing up the moment I stepped outside. I had to redo it at home.
After multiple frustrating experiences, I canceled my membership. At this price point, I’d rather use a service like GlamSquad—they come to your home and actually listen.

I love this Blo Blow Dry Bar. Lisa is amazing and you are luck to have her, she is dependable, reliable and does an awesome blow dry. The girl at the front desk is always nice and friendly and it's nice to see the same friendly faces when you go there.

Lisa is an outstanding stylist who is punctual, professional and personable! Her amazing expertise allows her to understand what her clients want and execute to perfection! In addition Lisa is very knowledgeable about the products Blo Bar offers. I would highly recommend a blow dry with Lisa!

I’m from Chicago and was excited to get a blowout on my trip, accidentally scheduled it for the wrong date. Got a call saying “we didn’t pick the date for you, you did” said she’d void it and charge me the $25 which is not a problem at all. I’ve actually never left a bad review but this girl on the phone definitely deserves this one star. Will definitely not be rescheduling here. What a shame hiring people that don’t know how to speak properly to people on the phone. Looked at the other reviews and turns out it’s a normal thing for this place

I have been coming here for years, and this morning I made an appointment for 11:45 am. I got a phone call from them stating I made two appointments but I had only made one, Tesia the person that called me was very rude on the phone and said it will be no problem to cancel one appointment but will be charging $25 for canceling. She was very rude and was speaking as she is above others. She does not know what customer service is. I hope that management looks in to this issue.

LOVE LOVE LOVE so excited I found this place while down opening my newest gym, Hotworx NMB. I signed up for their monthly membership and now I know I will be handled when I am visiting :)

Today I had a scheduled blowout at 10 am, with Kalantaroya yelizaveta, there was a lot of holiday traffic so I called in and arrived at 10:11. The stylist told me she could do my blowout but no curls since my appointment is for 45 mins so I said ok, I understood. While she was styling my hair I saw her in the mirror making faces and rolling her eyes at the girl at the front desk. I ignored it, her next client came in early at 10:40 and she said to her “I’ll be right with you”. She was already done with my hair by 10:43 and I asked her to add a bit more volume to a front piece which takes 30 seconds, to which she snapped and said “no I cannot” and I said why it’s 10:43? And she said “my next client is here” and I told her “I thought I got my time until 10:45”. So she rudely started doing it and said “it’s not gonna work but fine” and I told her “just leave it then” and then she yelled at me infront of everyone “so your time is important but mine is not?” (it was still not 10:45 then either). I asked her to stop and she stormed to the back. I went to the register, the manager was in the chair next to us and did not intervene until I was at the register. She apologized for the behavior and said she understood if I didn’t tip her that it was not acceptable the way she spoke and that my time was until 10:45 am. I asked for a discount and said she could not grant one, but that maybe for next time. (Not sure how that is a resolution). All the women around me were shocked by the whole scene, I’ve never been treated like that a salon in my life, and I’ve been going to this location for years. You are welcome to corroborate my story with the camera footage.

I used to come here all the time and would get good service. Not sure what happened but they didn’t want to do my hair because apparently someone wrote in their system my hair takes a long time which makes absolute no sense to me because why would someone go out of their way to put that in a client’s account ! Ive always just booked a regular blow out here and now they want to con people into paying more because they have more hair ? Makes no sense to me but beware ladies that have alot of hair ! They called to cancel my appointment because of this because they didn’t want to inconvenience their other clients ! How ideal , will not be going back ! I don’t even have long hair , or curly hair or even extensions ! Just thicker hair so crazy to me
