Today around 6PM my 1 year old accidentally walked into the store, my oldest went inside to get her, she waved at me from the door and pointed to one of the dresses. They were going out when a lady approached aggressively, touching his arm several times. My 8-year-old daughter had done nothing, I found her way of calling out to a child without embarrassment and completely rude. She then lectured us about her responsibilities by bringing her foul breath under my nose and pressing my hand twice with her finger. I didn't want to do more being with my children. When I see the comments I am not surprised. This type of behavior is the opposite of the very commercial spirit of Coconut Grove. I do not advise such permissive people. to avoid !!!!!

I paid $150 for a short open-back dress with puffed sleeves from Edite Mode's store in Coconut Grove. I used the dress for my engagement shoot and it was beautiful. The sweet lady at the store said the dress was imported from France. However, after making that non-refundable purchase, I was able to find the same exact dress with the same exact quality for less than $50 on Amazon. I personally would never buy again from this store because they're selling a lie. Their clothes are pretty and the customer service is great, but you can find their clothing on Amazon for a fraction of the price. I wish they would put more effort into truly being a boutique with unique clothing.

The lady helping us on 07/26/23 at around 18:00 was so unhelpful and rude and wouldn’t even let us look at clothing. She followed behind us sighing about having to do her job, saying things like "oh my god" under her breath, and eventually we got so uncomfortable by her telling us to not “pull out the clothing to look at it” we just left. Even if she was new, what kind of assistant lacks basic manners and was on the verge on snatching clothes out of our hands? Shame because the clothing was great but I refuse to seem like I’m begging a store to let me to shop.Don’t come here if you want to be treated terribly.

My sister, my friend, and I were in the store on a Saturday night and were looking for dresses for an event. we each grabbed a dress to go try on and then the rude saleswoman told us that we could not try on any dresses "because the store is too busy on the weekends." We spent a total of 20 minutes in the store and only four people came in and out of the store within those twenty minutes. I tried asking her again kindly if we could try on two dresses and that it would only take three minutes. She tells me "oh its art basel weekend and our store is so busy since so many people are in town." Again, there was only four people coming and going in a 20 minute span. I negotiated for another minute and she said "but even if you try it on you wont buy it because your parents arent with you." This woman assumed that my sister, my friend, and I did not have the funds to purchase a dress from her store when two out if three of us own successful small businesses. Some people are just pretentious and in this case, the store lost 3 possible sales due to a disrespectful saleswoman. I have loved this store for very long especially the beautiful dresses but the disrespectful staff there ruined my experience completely.
