Hi, Pep Boys, they are the best experience ever. I have live in Miami Fl ?? for more than 23 years from Uruguay ?? I’m been a professional driver for more than 6 years. No words how good the Pep Boys are. Attentive professionals, fast, detailers, clean, honest gentlemen, hard workers. Very comfortable, entertained waiting room with delicious coffee. Customer service is bad with alot of “mansplaining.” They replaced my wipers with a broken set and replaced the wrong headlight. Now they’re so incompetent they can’t figure it how to replace the other headlight. Beware.Update: they also broke my blinker. When I called to inform then about this the person talking to me abruptly put me on hold.

I scheduled an 11:30 a.m.online appointment with pep boys in North Miami beach. upon arriving at 11:00 a.m. I was informed by the gentleman at the service desk that my appointment would not be honored and it would take two and a half hours. I left my car and came back two and a half hours. during this two and a half hours I never received one phone call. I was then informed my bill would be $700 when I question the cost of certain items he told me it was the lowest price available. He did not provide me with a printout or even the ability to look at the computer at the prices. I agreed because I needed my car. I had to wait another hour and a half I started looking at prices for this pep boys shop. He did not charge me the lowest price available . When I finally received my car another gentleman checked me oot.He was a nice young man and I informed him the earlier representative misled me. He did honor my coupons. When I left my car had a squeaking noise and I had to return. The mechanic said he left a piece of plastic hanging and that was causing the noise. the young gentleman who checked me was helpful. Follow Up: The manager contacted me and did acknowledge his store was having issues with online appointments and were very short staffed. My car has been running good since the repairs. Do your homework and check out prices online and in person.

I will never return to Pep Boys, the most expensive place, they take advantage, they charge for labor however they want, if they value their money don't go, it's very expensive. They charged more than $300 to install brakes just for labor, they charge a shop fee and they say it is a fee that the state charges, I do not recommend it.

The reason for my the two star rating is because I explained to a service member that my car is making a clicking sound when I turn the key and the engine won't start. I informed that I recently removed the battery in my key fob since I need to replace it and wasn't sure if there is any way that this may have caused my engine to not start. The service member, (do not know his name), stated to me that there is nothing they can do to help me because I have to call a locksmith to repair my key. I asked if he could please check the engine battery to make sure that it is not a dead battery problem. The service man declined to inspect the car battery assuring me that the problem was the key and there was nothing he can do for me. I then called the Honda dealership and asked if there is any relation between a nonfunctional key and an engine stalling. Honda service center stated that the cars engine should still run despite a dead key battery. As I was walking back to plea with the Pep Boys service man to please check my car engine battery I ran into another mechanic/supervisor Ivan,and explained the situation. Mechanic Ivan was heaven sent, without hesitation he checked the car battery and advised me that the reader indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. I expressed my heart felt gratitude to Ivan for his professionalism, but above all for his kindness and willingness to help someone in need. The first Pep Boys service member stated that there was nothing he could do to help me, yet Ivan immediately diagnosed the battery problem and got me back on the road within 10 minutes. I give Ivan 5 stars and zero starts to the first service man I encountered.

11/29/23, I initially came in to have tires installed, but I was turned away by a guy who’s name started with a J, in the front. He tells me that my tires were not there and that there was nothing he could do. Even after I tried to provide the physical proof that the tires were delivered and confirmed by one of the employees.. the guy (his name starts with a J) continued to refuse helping me … so I left. after hours of going back forth with the manufacturer where my product was purchased from, I was instructed to go back to the store and speak directly to IVAN, who I must say was the only person able to help. He confirmed the tires were there and went over a beyond to set a appointment for next day installation… if you decide to go here, only work with IVAN

WARNING, Don't ever go here they do not know what they're doing and the management is absolutely disrespectful and horrible to their customers telling them things did not happen there when they did especially Joel Fernandez what a clown of a supervisor This sad human needs to go get educated, and learn how to speak and listen to people . He speaks over customers, when you're trying to explain to him. I do not think the technicians are certified and should be inspected. It took two technicians about an hour and 20 minutes to mount and balance 1 tire. I think that is completely absurd but in Fernandez's eyes, he thinks that it's just my perspective .staff does not know how to use the machines and will damage your vehicle so don't take it to North Miami Pep Boys
