“Run by the most magnificent woman and filled to the brim with treasures, this shop is held in a very special place in my heart. I bought my junior ring here about a month ago since I didn't want a trashy traditional one and as d*** as it sounds I started tearing up, I think that was merely me being overly sentimental lmao. But she helped me look for the right one, and now I have more of a story to tell about my class ring; it's 10 carat gold with a peridot stone, which she got from an estate! (Implying that I am wearing the ring of some formerly rich dead guy) She was genuinely the sweetest lady, her personality is so beautiful and I really felt seen and understood by a fellow clutter loving collector! I doubt she will ever look at these reviews, but I want her to know that I will always tell of her in the story :}”

“This place is extremely clean and there is a wide variety of items to peruse through. Some items seemed a little overpriced, but I totally understand the name of the game. If you’re a star wars fan, there is a HUGE selection of vintage toys, comics, and lots of other really cool finds. I picked up a couple of records and some Star Wars stuff.Definitely a cool place to check out, but don’t expect a bargain.”

“Well named because I honestly felt like Indy searching around for all the great antiquities! Everytime I stop by for a visit I am bound to find something to add to my collection. It's like walking into someone's home/museum bit you can take pieces of it home with you. What an amazing find in Micanopy, if you're heading to Gainesville for a game make sure you stop in on your way to support an amazing little store!”

“Best BLT and Key Lime Pie anywhere. It's hard to find good bread in FL, this cafe's bread has great flavor and texture and toasts nicely. Unlike a lot of bacon in The South, this isn't overly cured with sugar: balances nicely with salty and smoky flavors. Their mayonnaise (also not sweetened) pulls the bread, bacon and tomato flavors together really well. Key Lime Pie is also not overly sweet, citrus flavor comes forward very nicely with crust. We try Key Lime Pie wherever it's offered in FL and this is unquestionably the best.”

“We met owner’s cat Charlie as he rests in the store comfortably. The store is genuine, charming and with great selection of true vintage furniture and items, many gems waiting for your discovery. A must go spot if you live antiques. Much better selection than many other antique shops we’ve visited around the globe.”
“The minute I walked into Shady Oak Gallery, my energy calmed. This store has so many crystals you can't help but notice! Beautiful jewelry, crystal bracelets, pendulums and various loose crystals. The cost is very reasonable. I bought a goldstone bracelet for $12 and a pendulum for $20. The young lady that was working was great! Friendly, helpful and conversational. Very warm & welcoming place.”
