After being ignored at UF's small animal hospital a few years ago, the vet here saved my 9- year-old bunny's life when she was on death's door. She is still here today (nearly 12!!!) because of her care and knowledge. I now also always make sure to have a bag of Oxbow critical care handy just in case. Thank you! <3

My thought are maybe they could of came and brought dog to hospital so my kid could of said her goodbye before being put down from car accident..my child left hospital with 2 broken feet before she was sup to just to get to see the dog because was told it was being put down if she was not there in 1 hour. But when we did get to animal hos they were very nice and very professional and rolled the dog out to my truck at 145 am in the colld just so my child could be by her dogs side as it was being put down..they were all great on that aspect of service and we thank you..but then again I know dog had maybe broke its spine and was not in good shape so thank you fir keeping it alive and in no pain for the 10 hours you had her thanks again for your service

One of the friendliest, fairest and skilled clinics I have been to in a long time that doesn't gouge the hell out of you for services. I have 3 dogs all of them having been treated, inoculated or recieved surgery at M.A.H. Dr Molly Pearson and her team are exceptional and I will continue to support them and take all my pets for their care to this beautiful, clean and welcoming vet clinic. Keep up the A+ work team!!

Be aware!Yesterday, the lady in the front office refused to sell me the box of 6 pills that kill ticks and fleas. Even though it was prescribed by their own veterinarian. Her excuses were my dogs' age. The box of 6 pills cost $150 she gave me 2 pills for almost $73 dollars. **get your dogs' medication from amazon or Walmart. ** they work better for your wallet and your dogs. THEY RESPONDED TO MY COMPLAINT. ON THE PHONE SHE SAID THAT SHE HAD A FLEAS INFESTACION TOO AND THAT SHE USED KNOCK OUT FOR BEDS AND CLOTHS AND THE COST WAS $25, HOWEVER WHEN I PICKED IT UP THEY CHARGED ME $30. THE KNOCK OUT PRODUCT CAN'T BE USED ON BED, CLOTHS OR ANIMALS. AGAIN ***BE AWARE THIS PEOPLE JUST WANT YOUR MONEY***. YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR PETS' HEALTH ARE NOT IMPORTANT FOR THEM.

I absolutely love this office. I drive about an hour because they take great care of my guinea pigs. The staff is friendly and always return your call when they say they will. Definitely recommend this office if you have rabbits or guinea pigs.

Overall poor communication. inept front office staff, doesn’t know urgent from non-urgent. UTI diagnosed but delayed treatment in one pet. Then weeks to receive imaging results for another (after months waiting for the imaging), then several more days waiting for a call. all of this to receive a half-baked and impractical treatment plan over the phone for a limp that has been present for months. Going elsewhere. Have lost confidence.

Very compassionate group of people who were able to look at my 11 year old bunny when I couldn't find help in Ocala.

It’s taken me a while to write this review - my first ever - because I wanted the words to reflect perfectly how much Micanopy Animal Hospital meant to me and my cat, Daisy, during her time with them.It is so rare these days to feel good about the service one receives from a business. But every time I would call on the phone or we visited, I was amazed at how positive the experience was. Every person who works there - always professional and “above and beyond”, as they say. It felt personal, too, not just clinical. When the time came to make the decision to let her go because of her terminal condition, we knew it was there that she and we would want to be. They have a beautiful little “comfort room” as someone else called it. My husband and I sat on a comfortable futon; there was a very soft “blankey” for her between us, and tissues and water were close by. A couple of the staff members who had known her came in to say good-bye. Dr. Pearson guided us and her so sweetly and gently through the process. It seems odd to say this, but when I think of that very sad day, I remember it as a beautiful one because of the delicate and thoughtful ways they made it that way. Words can't express what that meant to us.On a lighter note, we have just a adopted a dog from a family member, and so (YAY) we get to keep visiting our favorite vet clinic!
