Micanopy Inn is a low-budget, no-frills motel built in 1971. The property is described as outdated and a dive, with an office that smells funny. Some rooms are freshly remodeled, while others need minor upgrades like a new light or a working bathroom fan. However, reviews consistently report that rooms are clean, bug-free, and smell clean, with comfortable Serta mattresses, clean sheets, and towels. Amenities include a TV, microwave, fridge, a hot shower, and an ice-cold A/C unit. The owners and staff are noted as very cordial, friendly, easy-going, super nice, and helpful. The motel is considered a good value for its low price, providing a quiet and comfortable place to sleep that fulfills basic requirements. It is tucked off the main highway, safe from traffic, where guests can sit outside. While some find the atmosphere incredibly creepy and eerie, many guests report a good overall experience and state they would stay again without question.
Don't believe the negative reviews got 2 rooms for My guys 127 and 128 and was clean and the people at front desk were friendly. Yes the office smells funny and it looks like a dive but for $53 a night it's clean and bug free

Very dirty. Bed bugs cockroaches. Smells bad. And a lot of drug traffic. Looks as those it’s used as a homeless shelter.
