30 years ago this month I obtained my CDL. I say that to say I have been in a few truck stops. Today, Sunday the 14th day of March, 2025, I visited the Pilot in Midway Florida for the first time. Excellent experience. Spotless store but more importantly the bathrooms and shower were immaculate. I seen a gentleman named Shawn cleaning my shower before I went in and he was as thorough as it gets! SPOTLESS. Also, his demeanor and the demeanor of his other co-workers was just blessed. So kind. So polite. So warm. So much so that I sought out the general manager to let her know that an old man on the road away from everything he loves but for that big rig and his pup had his spirit and mood lifted on this beautiful Sunday from God. She was attentive, thankful and wanted to know if anything could be approved in my opinion…..I literally saw nothing. My new truck stop coming through the panhandle of Florida from now on! Just a fabulous experience for this old truck driver!!! 10 out of 10!

A Traveler's Tale of Two Souls (and a Pilot)
As a long-haul traveler, the open road can be both a freeing and a lonely place. It's a journey I share with my best pal, Obi, a one-year-old Labrador who thinks every passing car is a squirrel that needs chasing. We've been on the road, crossing the country together, and one constant has been our reliance on Pilot Flying J.
More than just a gas station, Pilot has always been a beacon for us—a place where we can count on a clean bathroom, a decent cup of coffee, and a safe spot to rest our heads for a few hours. This particular location just outside of Tallahassee is a prime example. The staff is always friendly, the facilities are immaculate, and we've never, not once, had a single issue here.
Whether it's a quick pit stop or a longer rest, knowing that Pilot is around provides an incredible sense of comfort and security. It's more than just convenience; it's peace of mind for a traveler and his faithful companion. So, to the entire team at Pilot and Flying J, thank you. You've been a consistent and reliable part of our journey, and we're grateful for you every time we see that sign on the horizon. Five stars, without a doubt.

I visited this Pilot location and had a very frustrating experience. The shower faucet had almost no water pressure. The water was running, but it was so weak that I couldn’t properly take a shower. I ended up having shower 3 hours finally get clean because it was impossible to use the shower earlier. No water pressure that’s why I spent 3 hours to have 🚿 ☹️☹️☹️😏😏😏😏😏 just was wasting my time And I am professional driver we always used to have shower and washing machine on the way but no opportunity to wash
Also, there were two dryers available, but only one was working. I had to wait for over 5 hours just to use that one dryer because of the long line. For drivers who are on the road all day and rely on these facilities, this is extremely inconvenient.
Please improve the shower water pressure and make sure all dryers are working. Thank you.

The two girls in subway were kinda rude but polite at the same time. My mother and kids went in first and rushed her. Then I came in and got my food and I told the lady that I wanted the sandwhich of the day but made a footlong the same lady didn’t ask me if I wanted my bread heated or toasted. I tried to tell her I didn’t want my bread toasted or hard and I got the responds “the meat is cold I have to heat it” when both of my kids had just got theirs and their meat was cold and never even heated. The other lady totaled me out but rung up my order as a regular footlong teriyaki. But did give me a bag of chips and drink with it. The subway area was very nasty and both the girls were more worried about chatting and playing with the other employee from the gas side of the store and cussing very loudly. The drink area was very nasty and sticky. My daughter and myself got sprite and it was brown and smelled very nasty. The lady in the green let me get a new cup and some of the juice for my daughter.

This Pilot itself was okay but the Subway is a joke. Save your money and go somewhere else! The Subway employees were clueless and they were out of everything. Seriously no turkey, no meatballs, no mustard, and the lettuce and spinach looked old.

SHOWER 1:00 am , not any driver waiting , nobody using shower two attendants and only me . They make me wait 45 minutes. They couldn’t clean one of the 8 showers. Not acceptable this un respectful attitude

So.. after waiting in line for my gas receipt that I have to turn in at the end of each month, I'm glad the cashier told me all of the receipt machines on your pumps don't work. That will save me the trouble and time ever getting anything here again. Why even have them if they don't work?

I bought some headphones at this store. After I paid, they told me about the return policies. At that moment, I told them I wanted to return the purchase, but they refused. It was really bad, because if they had told me about the policies before paying, I wouldn't have made the purchase. I will definitely not buy anything from these stores again.

I just came to subway for lunch and my FIANCE AND I was treated as if we weren’t intelligent because we didn’t know EXACTLY what bread we wanted and then she talked to her staff as if they were underneath her.. Overall the food was great and the staff was friendly but the manager Definitely needs to treat people as if they were CUSTOMERS.. WE WILL NOT GO AGAIN..
