This guy who runs MRD should be in jail for what he and his crew did to my house. MRD improperly installed all 6 of my windows & doors & then damaged my home further with their sotty work. Michael knew I was a disabled single parent using my insurance money to replace my doors and windows. He knew I didn't have the means or physical ability to do any repairs on my own and that I was inexperienced about the installation process for doors and windows. He led me to believe he was experienced and knowledgeable. I did not directly hire MRD. He was hired by a contractor of another business where I purchased from. I STILL don't have the full scope of damages that have been done because I trusted this man when he said he'd help me out. He even offered to quote me on building a shed and a covered patio for me. So I waited patiently but realized he had no intentions to do anything of the sort after a few months of inaction. He failed to let the store know about the issues that we discovered upon installation. I was having with my sliding glass door screen and with my front storm door. When I texted him about it he responded that he had submitted it all to the corporate install office but follow up texts resulted in being ignored. MRD did my install in May of 2022 & it wasn't until July when I noticed the problem. Because I was wasting time waiting on Michael to respond, the store didn't know anything was wrong because he never submitted anything. It wasn't until the end of August when they were able to send another crew out to fix and/or meditate the damages. The issues were pretty severe.... The entire section above my front door was open to the elements! This guy left a 4-in gap above my front doorway for 3 months in one of the rainiest summers we've had in awhile! It was so hot in my house and the condensation was literally pouring from my ceiling vents! We were having a variety of bugs and frogs show up in our home & we couldn't figure it out what was going on! Mold was growing on ceiling vents and we were having cold like symptoms. It was because our home was open to the elements the whole time! As soon as I realized a gap above the door, I texted Michael immediately. I could literally reach up and knock on my interior wall. He's so honorable, instead of responding, he blocked me! Of course I had no idea he had blocked me at the time I just assumed he was busy and not responding. I only discovered he blocked me a few weeks later when I tried to call him and it went straight to voicemail. I called a few days later and again it went straight to voicemail and then I started to get suspicious. I used my son's phone to call him and it rang right through. Since then I have tried contacting him multiple times just to test this theory and each time I go straight to voicemail. This man let my home sit exposed to rain, moisture, mildew, rot and infestation for months and simply left me to deal with these issues on my own! At one point, 2 families of frogs were living inside the walls above the front door and in my bedroom window!!! When the store finally sent another crew out to fix MRD's crappy work, we discovered even worse news.Each window had only 4 screws holding them in place! There were 18 holes in each window to be screwed & MRD used FOUR! Both my front entry and back door frames were "secured" with INCH AND A HALF SCREWS in them! I'm posting pictures of the actual screws pulled from my doors! Had we had a hurricane like Sally again, all my doors and windows could have imploded. I tried to report MRD to the county but because he was under the store's permit, the county said they can't do anything. So I'm posting this review here and now so that others will be forwarned. Be careful if you use this company. I've got tons of photos & documentation from other companies who've come out to fix his crappy work. The new subcontractor the store sent out to my house to fix MRD's work says they are so busy with work

This was a lowe's window order on block construction. Paul measured and the windows fit like a glove. Chris installed my windows and did an excellent job with no damage to my concrete block. Cody was the helper was excellent as well.Arrived exactly when they said they would, called on their way so I could get there in time.Professional, courteous, knowledgable and skilled!!!!

I contracted MRD to put a new kitchen window in for me, Paul did an awesome job removing the brick and installing the window itself and then Brian did the masonry work around the window and did such a great job matching and replacing the brick that it looks like the window was there all along. As far as the customer service Lois Hobby, Matt Dinger and Dave Botonis have been a pleasure to work with. What a great team.Peggy SmithService: Kitchen remodeling

MRD construction was amazing to work with, every single staff member including the owner were all so polite and communicated with us well. I asked for a big job on short notice and they were able to get it done when I needed it and it looks great! They took out our brick wall to put in sliding glass doors and a deck and drywalled in an interior door for us. The price was also very reasonable. We will be using them again for future projects.Services: Installation

They installed impact windows and shutters bought at Lowe’s. Crew was not very friendly and didn’t believe me when I told them they needed to install the shutters even when I showed them my receipt. They waited until Lowes salesman finally called back and confirmed. Another crew came late in the day to do the shutters and did a rush job. They cracked several bricks , left caps off screws , stripped one screw and broke one sprinkler head. All this and just left. When I found the errors and called I was promised a work order would be made. No response from Lowe’ or MRD. MRD has stopped working for Lowes so I guess they don’t care about Lowe’s customers anymore and once Lowe’s gets their money they move on to the next victim . To be fair MRD did a good job installing the impact windows. I could have been completely happy with a Little extra effort and follow through.

I wouldn’t recommend MRD. Windows and Doors is installed wrong causing leaks and issues. Installers installed screws on the bottom of the remodel windows where water collects and now they leak because that’s where screws don’t belong. Sealant is only a temp solution for these screws and not a good idea cause they can’t be inspected. Patio doors installed without a sill pan and they leaked water inside house because of this.

Paul and Cody did an excellent job installing my new windows. They took extra time to completely replace the windows to include the framing. I appreciated their attention to detail. The new windows look much better than the old. I highly recommend MRD for window installations.
