I visited with my husband and two year old son and we all had a great time! Someone suggested it for my family and gave us some details. She recommended you check the Facebook page (or Google) to make sure they are open as the hours may vary. I agree with this. My family drove about an hour and we would have been disappointed if we got there and it was not open. Once you get to Mims to get to the farm it is a little bit out of the way and down a dirt / unpaved road. Just drive with caution. There was a porta-potty on premises; I found it to be cleaner than I expected. There was a small trailer with a very inviting woman. We brought our own scissors (as it was suggested) but she did offer us scissors which I thought was great. They also had sunflower seeds and honey for sale. The farm itself is a maze style and you can just wander through and take pictures. You can cut any and as many sunflowers as you want and you pay when you exit. My son had the best time running around and picking out sunflowers that we later put on our dining room table. I highly recommend as a place to take pictures, to go and support a nice local small business and even a different activity for a couple or a family or even friends! It is cash only!

I absolutely loved this place! Went with my boyfriend to start the new year off on a good note. I don’t think we could have made a better choice. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. We had so much fun trying to decide which ones to pick. I 100% recommend coming here! We’re definitely planning on returning!

Sledd's U Pick Farm is an absolute sunflower paradise. The field is breathtaking, filled with vibrant and towering sunflowers as far as the eye can see. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring a delightful experience. The attention to detail and pristine condition of the flowers are impressive. It's a tranquil escape that every sunflower lover should experience. Highly recommended!

?Hands-down my favorite family farm around here! Obviously the SunFlowers are the big attraction, and they never disappoint. But, we make the drive out there specifically for their Honey! ? They sell their own wildflower honey, which we use as our Allergy Cure ? Thank you guys for everything you do!

This was a great way to end our morning after the blueberry farm down the road. The lady was so kind, the flowers are lovely, there's a hum of activity of bees, butterflies, and other happy insects (luckily mosquitoes were not among them!) as you walk through the stunning sunflowers and sun hemp. My toddler was so excited to be able to run on the path and try to find different "holes" (different directions in the maze). We left with some beautiful and unique sunflowers to take home, along with gorgeous photos and fun memories.

Sledd's is the perfect place to pick sunflowers! It is located in Mims, about 45 minutes from east Orlando. The flowers were B E A UTIFUL. They also smelled amazing! Some helpful tips:You can bring your own but they also have scissors to use as well. This is a only place so make sure you have some in hand. Make sure you check their FB page out for their daily hours. Bring a container and water for them as they wilt rather quickly. Especially if you pick the skinner stemmed ones. There are lots of bugs . If you're not into nature in a buggy sense, this may not be the place for you! There is a porta potty available for use!

Great day, nice and windy, not hot at all. Flowers are about 2 feet tall but thousands of blooms.

LOVE this place! The owners are always so sweet each time I’ve been, and the sunflowers are absolutely beautiful. It takes me about an hour to get here and it’s always worth the drive. The prices are extremely reasonable and the flowers make for beautiful photo backgrounds. I’ve previously went on a weekend and this last time I went on a weekday evening and it wasn’t nearly as busy.

Loved this place, awesome spot when the flowers are high. Even seeing them above my waist is cool. They all face the sun and you can get lost in the maze if you're not careful haha ? easy to make it out

This place is so gorgeous! I've been to this sunflower maze three different years and I love when the sunflowers are super tall, but it's also so amazing when you can look out into the field of them in full bloom. Now, this is clearly in Florida, so in general I follow Sledd's Facebook page for hours and closure, obviously checking my own radar before I drive out. Another thing to note is these are flowers, which means bees are plentiful. I've never had an issue though it's safe to say, don't bother them and they won't bother you. However, if you are allergic I'd lay on the side of caution going.
