Best sushi in the panhandle. The menu showcases a variety of traditional sushi options. The fish is always fresh, expertly sliced, and presented beautifully.What really sets this place apart is Andy’s hospitality. He greets every guest with a smile and goes out of his way to ensure everyone has a great dining experience. It’s this personal touch that makes each visit memorable, and has kept us coming back for years.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. They said no party of 7 or more, and kicked us out for a party of 6. Absolutely ridiculous. My family was just trying to eat. Extremely rude as well.

Love this place. Best sushi in town. Fresh sashimi, tempura was prepared perfectly, and gyoza was as good as when my mom makes them! Andy was a breath of fresh air. Very polite and courteous. Spoke with all the guests dining.

My cooked meal was undercooked. They were extremely rude to me. One of the servers made a racist remark towards my group. Extremely unprofessional. Will never be coming back.

After speaking about this place for the last 2 years and how good it was I was amazed and how rude the staff was here. We had a group 8 offered to sit separate and was basically thrown out of the restaurant. I have never seen such rude and hostile staff anywhere ever. Which is unfortunate because our first visit was amazing. Staff showing us items off menu telling us about their lives ect. Very sad to see how far this has gone down hill in 2 years.

Dinner at SUSHIMOTO is ALWAYS a pleasure for the tummy, and for the soul … Andy, his wife, and the whole stuff surely know how to take care of you. And of course, their food is delicious. We always struggle to decide if go for ramen, rolls, or any other delicacies they might serve that night. If you have not been there, do yourself a favor and try it out!

I looked up a sushi restaurant because I was wanting some fresh sushi since I lived so far away from the coast so it is incredibly hard to get something that tastes fresh. I happen to stumble upon this place in the area and my girlfriend and I went and were incredibly surprised. Our server was an absolute angel and the food was absolutely wonderful. We talked to the owner about his passion for food and his culture and it moved me. Whenever I ever come back that way this will be the place I will be coming back to because it felt like there was a little piece of being back overseas hanging out at one of my favorite bars with my friends.

This was mine and my boyfriends first time eating here and our experience was wonderful! The food was fresh and flavorful, our server was bubbly and sweet, and the owner was so personable and charming. If we're ever in Destin again, we will absolutely eat at Sushimoto. ?
