Very enjoyable golf course. On course snack bar was closed, and it was a hot day. No drinking water on the course. The cart girl was attentive, and we saw her 3 times, so she did a great job circling the course. However, for the rate we paid, water bottles would have been nice, or some sort of access to ice and water on the course. Pro shop staff were pleasant and courteous, outside staff were also pleasant and very helpful. Starter did a great job. Having a GPS on the cart was a nice amenity. We enjoyed the golf course very much. Greens were very slow and we just couldn't get the pace right, so our putting was not great, but that's on us! The course offered just the right amount of challenge and distance for both of us (husband and wife)

Played Raven on Dec 29, 21, and had a really positive experience. I am a Midwestern golfer just there for the holidays, so it was a great treat for myself, and taking my mom out there. We got checked in by Peter, he was super helpful, and pointed us to the driving range, and told us where the bathrooms were on the course. We had a 7:50 am tee time that I was able to get online for $95 a person. We got paired up with another twosome that was a bit intimidating, not knowing how 'professional' they may be, but as luck would have it, they did not check in by tee time, and we were sent out just the two of us. We had a foursome two groups in front of us that was playing a bit slow, but nothing to complain about. We often waited on the tee boxes, but I would much rather have some small waits here and than than getting pushed by jerks behind us. We probably saw the beverage cart 3 times during the course which was nice. The carts were in great shape, and having a touch screen GPS device on the cart was a nice touch, to not have to pull your phone or range finder out every shot.
The course itself was in excellent shape. The fairways were like carpet. Water on most holes, and we played really well. I think we each lost 1 ball on the front 9. The island hole, number 6 was great to play. Several other par 3s were shorter than I would have thought, but still fun. We pulled 3s, and 4s on all of the par 3s. The bunkers were complex, and the challenge of the course causes us to play a bit smarter, and more cautious that was probably a good thing. It took us just over 4 hours to get thru, but that included a 25 minute rain delay on the 14th hole where we took shelter under some trees.
After the golfing, the staff was great in helping us get our stuff out of the cart, and Rita was friendly at the counter while we bought some shirts. Overall, I thought the course, and staff was great.

The course itself was a 5/5 but sorry, I don't think you should charge a rack rate of $139 when you’re closing so many of the amenities. If you don’t offer the full experience because it’s the “off season” then you should charge appropriately. You can find nice courses all over Mirimar and Destin that offer a more appropriately priced round factoring in amenities and course. -Range was closed (were not told when we made the tee time or in the pro shop) -Bathrooms on (I think the 7th hole) were all locked and closed -Bathrooms on 10 not open (all locked) -Ice machine on 10 had no ice scoop (had to use our hands) -No food or drink service on the tenth saw the cart vendor once the entire round) -Nobody enforcing pace of play, stuck behind a group of 5 (nobody in front of them) playing a best ball format, watching each others shots, hitting multiple balls and taking selfies and photo ops (see photo)

Good golf course at a reasonable price. Can be played by all levels of golfers and enjoyed. Rate was $89.

This course was very good for December. Still very green and you have to really shape some shots to score well here. The wind the day we played made this course very difficult but it was a neat layout and picturesque holes. The course isn’t to long and the fairways for the most part are wide enough to be in play a lot. For sure would make this course a stop if you are heading to this area.

My son and I played a round back in August. Course was in pretty good shape for having been aerated a couple weeks before. Course was not very crowded and we were able to play 18 holes in 3 hours and 20 minutes. I think my preference is Baytowne of the two, but the Raven is a nice course.

Had a blast playing with 3 other guys from Ga. Course can be tough in spots with lots of water all over. They had just got new carts and the gps on the carts was awesome
