I cannot allow another day to pass without writing a review on this branch of CVS. I think Headquarters needs to hire a different staff within the pharmacy department because something wrong is happening, If I could give less than a 1 star they deserve much less.
I had a procedure done and the Doc sent, upon my request, my medication to the Miramar Parkway and Doulgas CVS Pharmacy. Now keep in mind my family has been using this location for over 20 years. When my mother went to find out about my medication, the gentleman in the pharmacy told her everything would be $64. Thank God she did not pay that. She told me and I said to her find out if they are using my insurance. She went back to the store and the gentleman told her they do not accept my insurance. A BIG SHOCK. She calls me and I told her impossible I just picked up prescription for my son the week before with the SAME insurance. She told him and he was not hearing it. He even went further to tell her I should try WALGREENS (the competition). So I told her to put him on the phone. After refusing to come on the phone he finally did. I asked him why did my insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) work last week but not this week? He said something to the effect of it only working for 7 days and has expired....never heard such a thing in my life. So at this point, in pain, I could not bother to argue with him. I jumped on my cvs app and RELOCATED my prescriptions to another CVS LESS THAN A MILE from that location.
I went to that location. They took my insurance card. Rang me up, I paid $14 took my prescription and WENT ON MY WAY. A simple task that took no effort. I stopped and asked the young lady. Do all CVS use the same system to process insurance payments. She said YES!!!! Let that sink in because my question then is, what was the issue at CVS Miramar Parkway???
Now, the week before was not without any issue for my son. The same gentleman told me $400 for my son's prescription and said my insurance did not work. He used a coupon that dropped the medication to $200. I told him it's okay I will call my insurance company. The next day I called my insurance company and they called the location. I paid $7.
I don't know what kind of GAMES this location is playing. I recommend everyone to question if they are using your insurance and then call your insurance if what you are being charged sounds off. It blows my mind that you walk into such an establishment and have to be concerned if they are charging you correctly.
For me, it is goodbye to CVS. Thank you to your employee who suggested the competition. HELLO WALGREENS. And I will let you know, I have heard two persons say they are picking up prescriptions and I tell my story and tell them go to WALGREENS the SUGGESTED PHARMACY BY A CVS EMPLOYEE.
I will no longer go even into the CVS store to purchase a single thing. I did not ask for discounts. My insurance has a part to pay (and their service is not cheap to me), the pharmacy has a part to play and I have a part to play. Be fair. Do what IS RIGHT by people. We work too hard to be RIPPED off due to lack of knowledge on what we trust you to be processing on our behalf.

What's the point of posting "Business Hours" if the store closes its doors 5 minutes early? The African American woman quickly turned off the sliding door switch as she seen me walk up to the door and walked away. That was so rude considering it happened on Christmas Day! Shame on you.

Horrible service by store attendant ALONA, she was really mean and rude, I asked politely to scan an item for me and she gave me attitude and honestly she seems like she does not want to work.
DON’T GO TO THIS CVS.

At the google writing closing time 12:00 but Iam coming to here they not accept if you close to early you have to update otherwise people driving to long way

MARIA. Pinto she runs the pharmacy department and she is absolutely excellent. Very efficient. Did a great job. Great CVS great store great parking the staff and the retail department is excellent and once again I could be more happier with the pharmacy department highly recommend them.

I went to the CVS in Miramar, FL. I accidentally purchased the Alka Selzer Cold Medicine Tea. I just wanted to exchange for the Alka Selzer dissolving tablets... that's it! I kindly asked the cashier if she could help... I have never been met with more disdain and bad attitude in my life!!! Keep in mind all I asked was, could I exchange and pay any difference in price if I had to. This cashier in front of all the other customers treated me with such disrespect and bad attitude. She completely humiliated me in front of everyone. You would think I was asking for a kidney!!! I just ended up buying the dissolving tablets and keep the Alka Selzer Cold Tea medicine because i couldnt get any assistance from her. She even had to come over to the self serve checkout to approve my new purchase and I asked why she was so angry, she looked at me and said "Whatever!"... so I paid and walked out. I will never go back to this CVS or any CVS for that matter. Any company that condones an employee to treat a customer like this, doesn't need my business.

Absolute WORST pharmacy. Never let you know when something is out of stock. Just let you order it and show up expecting your prescription. Happens EVERY MONTH

Bad pharmacy services. They are calling to pick up your medication and when you get there, you have wait for more than 30mns again for them to prepare the medication.Or they told you to come back to get the rest because they are lazy.Unfortunately it’s this one is the closest location.Smh

This has to be the worst service that is ever received. The pharmacy tech Dajanee screamed at me when I ask for a receipt. She failed to give me a receipt so I drove back around and asked hr for a receipt. She proceeded to yell on the top of her voice at me saying " didn't I tell you to wait. What the hell! " she was extremely ghetto, unprofessional. She should never have a job working with people, especially ones that are sick. I am very sick. It too alot just to drive to pickup my medicine. The pharmacist give me my receipt, but didn't even apologize!!
